Having lived in the UAE, India, South Korea, Turkey, and across Europe, I bring a global perspective and deep cultural awareness to my teaching practice. These international experiences have shaped my values as an educator — helping me understand diverse learning styles, foster inclusive classrooms, and connect meaningfully with students and families from all backgrounds.
I am a passionate and adaptable early years and primary educator with over three years of experience in both primary and secondary settings.
I am currently working as a classroom-based Teaching Assistant, supporting children in both EYFS and Year 3, where I help deliver engaging lessons, provide individual support, and contribute to a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. This role has further strengthened my understanding of early childhood development and my ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
Alongside this, I manage an after-school club at St Thomas CE Academy, one of England’s Outstanding (OFSTED) schools, where I work closely with families, staff, and school leadership to support students academically and emotionally. I’ve also had the opportunity to work in several Outstanding OFSTED-rated children’s centres in Birmingham, deepening my skills in holistic child development and community engagement.
I hold a Bachelor’s (with Honours) and a Master’s degree in English Language Philology and Linguistics, along with specialized training in multilingual education and trauma-informed teaching. I am also certified in Safeguarding, First Aid, and CPR, ensuring that I provide a safe and supportive environment for every child. My familiarity with the British Curriculum and prior experience living abroad make me especially excited about returning to the region and contributing to your school’s vibrant international community.
