I have experience working with students of different ages, including working with students with a range of special educational support needs.
In the past, I have worked as a learning support assistant in a secondary school, working with students who each had various support needs. I offered support in various subject areas, including maths, science and English. I became experienced in adapting to each student's needs and utilised various approaches depending on the student I was working with. I also regularly liaised with teaching staff, the senior leadership team, and safeguarding leads, as well as other staff within the SEN department.
As an undergraduate, I have also interned for several projects, during which I engaged with younger (pre-university) students. I aided in developing and delivering educational workshops, tutoring and mentoring students, and providing feedback on student projects.
I would describe myself as being approachable, reliable and diligent, with excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
