I am a native English speaking graduate and a South African citizen. I have just completed my 168 hours TEFL certificate.

I have a passion of being around children as well as helping them reach their academic potential. I aim to work towards creating an interactive and intimate learning environment. I believe that every child has the opportunity to reach their academic potential as long as there is a teacher by their side guiding them through all the hurdles that come with being a student. I believe in a gentle and patient approach to teaching and strive to meet every student at their place of need I have a real desire to improve the lives of others by teaching English. I look forward to creating exciting and engaging lessons to motivate my students and help them to learn effectively. With the skills I’ve acquired from my TEFL certificate as well as my previous childcare experience I’ve gained from volunteering at a preschool I aim to use that knowledge to create an environment where English learning can be done in a fun, caring and productive way.

I believe I would make a valuable employee and teacher, as I am a dynamic individual that can adapt to any situation faced with. I have good communication skills which I think is very important when working with children as well as when it comes to working with my fellow colleagues and my superiors which serves well for an efficient environment.

I am a hard worker who enjoys learning new things and interacting with new and different people. I have the willingness to help others while having the ability to deal with given tasks with patience and care. Other people tend to see me as being calm, thoughtful and a good listener.
