Experience
I have a Bachelor's in Environmental Science and a Master's in Public Policy. I have honed in my written and verbal English skills throughout my academic career, resulting in completing two degrees of study. The latter relying on a high level of written English to excel in.
I have previously taught English in Tanzania, Africa, over a 3 month period. The key focus of the sessions was to build functional use of English for job skills and to improve employability.
I have also completed the 120-hour Premier Online TEFL Course.
I have previously tutored GCSE students whilst studying my Alevels in Maths, Science and English.
My professional experience have enabled me to widen my range of English skills both written and verbal across multiple platforms, domains and for varying purposes. I have an excellent grasp of English and have the personality to teach competently and effectively.
I have worked with students for two years following my Master's degree and understand challenges students face, the support they need and the journey they are on.

Personality
My approachable, kind nature enables me to be understanding of those around me. A skill that is key for teachers. I am also firm, yet fair. This means that I set expectations and manage the room, colleagues accordingly. I am a keen sportsman, follow public affairs and enjoy embracing culture. My outgoing nature enables me to strive for excellence and support those who need it at all times to help them succeed and be the best they can be.
