I have lived and breathed teaching esl in Korea for the last 2 and a half years. I have watched Korean students learn Engllish and grow exponentially. I've tried my best to teach my students the English language the way I learned it in school with the tools I learned through work and my tesol certificate. I may be not as decorated as the next person but I am honest, dedicated ,diligent and with the right chance I can get the job done. All I desire is to live a good life with my fiance doing what comes natural which is teaching esl.

My strength lies in my proficiency in English communication at the level of an overseas Korean in English spoken countries,allowing me to throughly prepare for lessons and effectively meet the needs of students with various learning styles. While I have my own teaching methods, I am also open to different ways of thinking and approaches to education. I constantly strive to learn and apply more efficient methods if they are available. Through years of teaching experience, I learned how to naturally build and maintain a strong rapport with my students.

Having grown up overseas, I was born in Korea, but find English to be my L1.
As mentioned above I have taught in variously different environments. I enjoy the challenge because I realize the challenges make me a stronger and better teacher in the future. The first time I even started thinking of becoming a teacher was when I was in middle school. My English teacher Mr. Peters made a huge impact on my life as a student and as a person. His class was always unique and fun and for the first time, it was fun to learn and study. I also noticed changes in my classmates as well. From the class we all became friends. From that, I wanted to become someone like him, who could not just teach well, but also change and make an impact on each student's life.
After my time in Ethiopia, my passion for learning grew more, realizing that learning is a privilege and not something to be taken for granted. So throughout these unexpected experiences in my life, I am growing to become a teacher that really wants to do better every single day. My wish is to also impact the kids to want to learn and to understand how fun learning is. I hope to truly teach the kids well but also learn throughout the process.

Certainly, effective teaching is crucial, but I believe a teacher's indispensable quality lies in adopting a leadership attitude—showing genuine care for students, guiding them with continuous interest, and considering their needs. I am a career educator; this is what I do.

I am a friendly and engaging ESL teacher, who always tries to keep the classroom environment fun and engaging, because I believe that language learning always happens best when students are confortable and involved. I have 6 years of experience teaching young learners in ESL, and possess a 120 hour TEFL certificate, as well as several TKT modules (Young Learners, 1, 2 and 3). This January I will also obtain a CELTA qualification. I can also speak fluent Mandarin, having passed HSK 6 in september 2022.

I also have a masters degree in modern history, and so would be comfortable teaching any history classes as required!

I'm applying to a job position of an English Instructor at the international school in Qing Tao. I have many years of teaching experience needed for students' better academic achievement. I believe that teaching someone a language is like guiding a person to a new world with full of excitement and enjoyment. I have an educational virtue which can capture a student's willingness for his or her future. It helps many students achieve their goals of life and academic careers. I‘d worked as an English Instructor and a program organizer at Seoul English Language Institute(SELI) for 8 years. Organizing several courses for Teps and Toefl, I could prepare many students to get into better private or foreign language schools. Organizing programs, and analyzing the style of English language tests, such as Teps, Toefl, Chinese College Entrance Exam, English interview preparation, and teaching how to write English cover letters, are parts of my virtue and I know how to apply those into a student's education and achievement. I believe that the one, who can look through the current flow of this industry, has the insight for the future challenge.

I was born with a personality of initiative and challenge and a strong sense of responsibility, so I do my best until the end and am sincere. I understand a lot of people with long experience in foreign life, and I get along with various people flexibly and have a good personality, so I get along well with all kinds of people.
I enjoy giving trust to others, trying to do everything with confidence, and having a strong sense of responsibility that once I start work, I have to see the end of it. Also, I don't want to stay the same and I like to go in a developmental direction even though I'm having a hard time. With this personality, I have achieved good results in my workplace. With long experience in foreign life, I tend to treat people with an open mind because I have no preconceptions about people and recognition of diversity that I can embrace many people with various experiences and challenges. When I graduated from university in Korea, I was lucky to work as a new employee at Daewoo Securities and Woori Bank because of the good evaluation of me, and after I went abroad, I studied education, American lawyers, and American economic law. Just before returning home, he successfully completed his work at AT&T, a leading U.S. telecommunications company, as a general manager of Maryland, taking charge of personnel affairs and overall sales strategies for his employees. After returning to Korea, he worked as an English interpreter at the Immigration Center under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea, Min Byung-chul as an English instructor at YBM, and as a professor at the University Illinois at Springfield Korean branch. At Gyeonggi Foreign Language High School, I took an English class with the person in charge of external cooperation, and now I am an English interpreter at Younghoon International Middle School.
