I have close to four years experience teaching at kinder, primary and elementary level.
My personality is suitable to teaching as I have a kind and approachable demeanor. I want students to feel that they can come to me about their struggles and insecurities. My goal is always to motivate them and encourage learning. At the same time I am able to set boundaries and assert control over my classroom.
In terms of skills, I have a background in English writing and editing so I am capable of guiding students to better writing and am easily able to spot mistakes and offer ways to improve on them. I often read blogs on teaching styles, classroom management and other teacher tips to see where I can improve on my own skills.

I'm a highly skilled teacher with exceptional experience in teaching and dedication. I teach English, mathematics, and science online and I also do contact learning on weekends. In my lessons, I focus on grammar, articulation, and pronunciation to keep English conversation at a better level. I can handle unexpected circumstances, ensure good communication with my students, prioritize discipline, help students who don't perform well in class, and promote bilingual language. In my classes, we learn with confidence and enthusiasm. I use different lesson plans such as presentation practice production (PPP), test teach the test, task-based learning, and student talk time. I'm very insistent and consistent in my classes to reach my target language.

I have am reliable, punctual and hard working. I have traveled overseas twice and enjoy learning and experiencing other cultures. I have a national diploma from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and a Tefl certificate from Teacher Record. I have taught English as an au-pair while in Italy.

As a qualified South African attorney, I have honed my legal expertise across different areas, including criminal, civil, commercial, and family law. My proficiency in legal research allows me to build strong arguments backed by solid precedents and statutes. With excellent advocacy skills, I confidently represent my clients in court and adeptly negotiate settlements. My attention to detail in contract drafting ensures precision and clarity in legal documents, providing the utmost protection for my client's interests.

I many yer of experience with young children and young adults. I worked for my university's SALT Center, where I tutored university age students in various subjects. I also volunteered for Special Olympics, where I coached older children with developmental disabilities in sports. After university, I worked in a kindergarten as an assistant teacher and now I am currently working for the State of Arizona in the Department of Child Safety, where I work with children and their families. My strengths are patience, creativity, and rapport-building with children. Parents have favorable opinions of me and say I have a calming energy!

My experience as a tutor in 2018 shows that I possess a number of key strengths. I have demonstrated strong communication skills, using clear and concise language to explain complex concepts to my students. Additionally, I would say I have good patience and empathy, helping students feel comfortable and supported as they worked through their difficulties. My adaptability was also on display, as I tailored my teaching style to the individual needs of each student. Furthermore, my strong subject matter expertise in English literature further underlines my strengths in this area.

Although I have a science background, I have a well-rounded skill set in elementary education and honed talents in lesson planning and tutoring. I am recognized for my critical thinking, communicative collaborations, and continuous positive attitude. Previously, I volunteered at a summer camp and taught science (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.) to elementary children. I had an incredible time making real differences to these kids' lives and I hope to continue to teach at your school!

I am a patient and entertaining teacher. I have a year and a half of experience teaching children ages 5-13 at a hagwon in South Korea. I taught effectively in a way that was interesting and fun for the students.

I have two degrees, one in accounting and one in business management, and I have spent 5 years in the workforce. Though my jobs in the accounting field don't directly relate to teaching, I feel I've developed many of the skills necessary to be a great teacher. My experience in the accounting field has increased my skills in interpersonal communication, task management, and leadership, as I've helped host meetings, meet short monthly deadlines, and worked with a team teaching and developing new processes. In my college school work and the jobs I have had since, I have worked frequently on teams for different assignments and job tasks. I have learned to communicate succinctly and effectively so that I am clearly understood and our work can progress successfully. I feel these skills would be of great benefit as an English teacher. I am very patient, kind, and positive, and I love supporting and encouraging the growth of those around me as they develop and flourish within their fields.
