I have experience working with a wide age range, from children of 4 years old, up to adults, and also with a range of language levels from A1-C1.

During my time in Romania teaching English at a summer camp in Sibiu, I worked primarily with children between 4 and 14, and I used a range of activities to improve their language levels. These activities included match up games, team games such as designing a class flag, creating a class dance routine for the whole camp talent show, and sports events to encourage movement and learning. In the afternoon I was also responsible for leading excursions around the camp, such as hikes and ski-life rides, to supervising the swimming pool and archery course.

In Spain I worked for two weeks at a government run language centre in Bilbao where I taught English to adults. My main focus was conversational English, and I used a variety of ways to build learners confidence in English, such as introductory lessons whereby they introduced themselves to the group by describing where the lived, what they did for a job, and their favourite thing about the city in which they lived. This position gave me a great opportunity to share my regions culture with the students, many of whom had only visited London, and open their eyes to the cultural differences of different UK regions, and that is something that I really enjoyed.

I am a very outgoing person, I am not afraid to take on any task that is needed of me, and I am confident that teaching in Korea with be a fantastic next step to build my career as a ESL teacher.

I am an outgoing and reliable individual for a passion in helping others and seeing other people smile. I love having new and challenging experiences, and I enjoy travelling and seeing new things. I have experience working in a nursery with children ages 1-4, and school children aged 5-11.

I hold a in English from Concorida College , where I gained valuable knowledge in language acquisition and teaching methodologies. Additionally, I successfully completed a TEFL Certification from The TEFL Orginanation, equipping me with the necessary skills to teach English as a foreign language effectively.

Throughout my academic journey, I have had the opportunity to engage with diverse groups of students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. My experience includes leading interactive museum tours for children to learn and enjoy their local history at the Hejkomst Center. And helping highschools create essay and find their own literary voice at White Bear Lake Area Highschool as an English tutor.

Having a deep appreciation for cultural exchange, I am particularly drawn to the prospect of teaching in South Korea. The rich cultural heritage, coupled with a strong emphasis on education, makes South Korea an ideal destination for both personal and professional growth.

Conducting online ESL lessons has afforded me a wealth of experience and expertise in language instruction across different cultural backgrounds. I have honed the ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans based on the needs of the students across all age groups, together with my understanding of diverse learning styles and unique personalities has allowed me to cater to the unique needs of my students. I have learned great patience, cultural sensitivity, and strong communication skills create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

In sales, I have paid particular attention to my communication skills, product knowledge and preparation as this aids the customer to business experience greatly. I have used my natural empathy and understanding in order to to build relationships and establish trust with the client. I have learned the importance of time management of deadlines as well as overall workload management is essential to ensure work demands are adhered to.

As a psychology graduate, I was able to learn more about human behaviour and as such it greatly aids my teaching and sales approaches. My analytical skills and empathy enhance my ability to connect with people, whether in a classroom or sales setting.

I feel my career thus far has allowed me to become adaptable, effective at communication, and have a general understanding of human behavior. I am very much adventurous but also quite introverted but I have realised that balance in all aspects of life is key.

I consider myself a motivated, dependable, and accountable individual in both my personal and professional life. I manage my time efficiently, and I am capable of meeting strict deadlines. I take pride in my creativity and spend most of my free time working on art, creative writing, graphic design, and video editing projects. While I am confident in my ability to work independently, I also highly value teamwork. I have significant experience working in teams from playing sports, working on newspapers, magazines, advertising campaigns, and managing at Nothing Bundt Cakes.

I am an affable and eager person who is ready to learn and grow as much as possible. I have experience living in a foreign country and having to navigate a new language. I've taught and tutored young children to adults. I am very much looking forward to continuing my teaching career after the pandemic forced it into stasis.

I have my masters in physics and have achieved qualified teacher status (QTS) in mathematics.

I have taught maths in Korea from 2022 to 2023 and currently reside in China where I am teaching high school level maths. I have taught both British and American curriculums so I am flexible with the curriculums.

I have possessed a life-long admiration for reading and writing, and this interest helped me obtain skills in editing and proofreading. I have had minor TA jobs since high school and up into my four-year library job at Ohio University, which has given me plenty of experience being among classroom environments and around students. I went to college to obtain my English Bachelor’s Degree, which has given me a strong background into how the English language works grammatically and conversationally. I am a very organized person with clear communication skills with a passion for pleasing patrons or students. I
want my students to feel safe in my classroom, have an enjoyable time and experience learning
English. I enjoy helping people learn English no matter their age, as I have a fascination for other
languages and also the utmost respect and love for the cultures others may come from. I can edit
documents, lead groups, and take on projects that require the ability to multitask. Along with that, I
have a self-published novel out which has taught me much about publishing, formatting, and editing.
I’m very familiar with South Korean customs as well, as I’ve gone to Seoul and Busan before and
have had long friendships with people from South Korea. This has given me much exposure to the
culture, the people, the social aspects of Korean society, and the many things the country likes.
