Good Day Sir / Madam,
Application for Employment: English Teacher

By way of introduction, I am Vinay Premsagar, a 40 year old South African born citizen of Indian heritage. I am presently appointed as a Financial Manager at Garden City Commercial Bloemfontein Free State, a division of NMI Motor Dealer and a Mercedes Benz Franchise Dealer in South Africa since 2013. I have held the position of Accountant and Financial manager during my tenure with the Motor Industry.

Cumulatively I have been in employment since 2007 in financial services and the time has now come to venture onto new experiences and opportunities. If I am honest, I discussed various avenues of pursuit with my family and friends, and in view of the fact that I am a native English speaker, and skilled in the language from a writing, reading and conversing perspective they all agreed that I should most deeply consider a teaching vocation abroad. I grew more and more accustomed to this idea, and enjoy imparting knowledge and enabling people to grasp and learn actively. One of my inherent character traits is patience, and I firmly believe this is required in a teaching environment.

Other traits include perseverance, diligence, a good ethic and commitment. I further consider myself a person who is able to easily adapt and compromise where needed. I also possess a desire to enrich myself about other cultures and way of life, hence a career in teaching English suits these objectives, in the process enabling others, possibly children to elevate and educate themselves with my expertise, in order to holistically and seamlessly form part of a broader society.

Some of my academic qualifications are;
1) Bachelor of Accounting Degree obtained in 2007.
2) Master of Business Administration (MBA) obtained in 2018.

I am currently undertaking online English teaching classes and I will be completing these with my TEFL qualification by December 2024. In light of my current supervisory position I have ensured I equip my junior and senior staff with the requisite knowledge to perform their duties through my practice of clear communication, patience and teaching methods. I am someone who is able to impart knowledge easily and understandably. This has inspired myself to undertake a new exciting challenge which I believe I will be successful in, which is to teach English abroad.
I have had the pleasure of experiencing different cultures and traveled abroad to countries such as Thailand, UAE, Australia, India, Hungary, Czech Republic and Austria. As I am now in my early forties, I would appreciate a more permanent opportunity, to teach abroad would also fulfil my personal aspirations of being in the educational field. I request that my application to teach as part of your organization be considered earnestly.

I have over 9 years of experience teaching English at Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle School level, as well as some experience teaching adults.

My name is Siphesihle Magcaba, also known as Beka. I am 29 years from South Africa and currently residing in South Korea, Cheongju city. I have been working with elementary school students for 4 years now, 2 years in South Africa and 2 years in South Korea. I love my job because it allows me to contribute in the development of our future leaders. My teaching philosophy is that every student is capable of grasping the information taught as long as you can tap into their strengths as a teacher, this means that I use different methods for different students. I learned this skill from my job as an educator's assistant back in South Africa, my duties included helping students who had reading and writing difficulties.
