I am an individual with a strong technical background in computer science with a plethora of customer service experience. I have held multiple part time jobs throughout my time in university, and have ample of experience working in teams in different projects.

My name is Thabo Malinga. I have experience in freelancing as well as private equity. My strengths when considering experience is without doubt my ability to learn quickly. I am a fast learner, and in fact enjoy learning and being out of my comfort zone. My personality type tends to get along with majority of people. None of us are perfect, and thus, I may clash with others, but in the large part I am very sociable and tend to get along with people. I have an array of skills from my previous work, ranging from research to presentation. I believe that these skills as well as the others I have in my repertoire will make me a good teacher.

I am a passionate and enthusiastic person who wants to touch the hearts of children
and make a difference in their lives. I am punctual and work with a careful eye to
detail. My proactive nature motivates me to take initiative enabling me to meet
expectations and continuously strive in every task. I aim to inspire and nurture
young minds, helping them unlock their potential growth academically and
personally.

I was a substitute teacher for a year at Reddford House Northcliff from April 2023 to March 2024. From April- August 2024, Icompleted a 4-month maternity post at St Theresa's

My biggest strength as a teacher is my versatility to suit my students needs. Teaching 400 different students online for 1+ years has taught me to be very adaptable. Figuring out different ways to connect with my students and then to facilitate their learning is essential and something that I do very well.
My first teaching experience was as a volunteer in kindergartens and elementary schools in Vietnam, from the first lesson I taught I knew that I wanted to pursue teaching english as a career. I loved every second of my time teaching in Vietnam and was surprised at how quickly I gained my students trust and engagement to the topics of the day, despite having zero teacher training or practice. I have since had my training and practice and am ready to help inspire young learners!

I am a young professional who's greatest strengths are his patience, great work ethic, and strong communication skills. I have always wanted to work and live abroad because of my love of people and cultures. I have a high motivation to help others and see them succeed so I feel like teaching young english learners would be a great opritunity for me. My exerience in teaching is limted but every day in my current role as a professional news journalist I see how important language is every day. I feel like I can provide a positive learning experience to my students and I am excited to see what the future may hold.

I have a rich background in teaching, including several years assisting in the running of a successful dance school where I honed my ability to engage and motivate students of all ages. My passion for education goes beyond the classroom—I believe in creating a supportive, dynamic learning environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential. I am known for my enthusiasm, adaptability, and genuine care for others success, always going above and beyond to ensure people feel confident and supported. As well as being fluent in English, I aim to begin learning the language of my students right away to better understand and communicate with them.

I have experience in various industries such as retail, sales, layout design and Ed-tech space. For the past four years I have been creating online learning content. I have two years working experience for a US based company. I worked with various cross functional teams varying from counties such as England, India and US. I have obtained a TEFL certificate whilst completing my degree in design and manufacture at a reputable university. I taught English online for six months, the students ranging from all ages.

Through my past jobs I have gained extensive experience working with clients of all ages, demographics, and needs. I patiently and efficiently meet different expectations while establishing trust and rapport with my clients. I have experience analyzing and forecasting sales trends and areas of business growth. I have experience in peer-editing, collaboration, and creative content generation. I have experience in maintaining, organizing, and creating itineraries, lesson plans, and calendars. I have experience monitoring the health and wellbeing of children, and mentoring children, adults, and older individuals. I am thankful to have such a diverse background in different career paths and education, as it allows me to be adaptable, creative and solution-oriented.

My past experiences and my career goals greatly impact my personality. The people I meet and work with largely shape who I am, my interests, and insights. I consider myself to be flexible, a fast-learner, empathetic, and continuously curious. I love learning, and I am a people-oriented person who pursues their interests with passion. I do my due diligence and am very thorough, I enjoy a challenge, and I follow-through with whatever I set my mind to.

I possess strong organizational and assessment skills, developed through my experience in managing inventory and analyzing sales trends. I am also proficient in editing and writing, which will aid in developing engaging lesson plans. In college, my editorial experience with Crosscurrents Magazine honed my ability to create clear and compelling content, essential for lesson planning and engaging students. My commitment to continuous learning is demonstrated by my ongoing TEFL certification. I owe my strong relationship-building, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills to my experience in various customer-service and community-service roles.

I have extensive experience in English tutoring and student support, including working as a an English Language teacher in Germany, a private tutor and Learning Support Assistant with SEND students. I also teach English, tailoring lessons to suit different learners, including professionals like resort teams.
I’m highly adaptable and creative, thriving in dynamic environments. My ability to connect with students from various backgrounds and foster a supportive learning atmosphere is key to my teaching style.

I’m proficient in multiple languages (English, French, German, Moroccan Arabic), skilled in curriculum development, and specialise in creating engaging, practical lessons for different proficiency levels.
