Teaching skills to others is not only something I enjoy but is also a passion of mine. Having always been inquisitive, willing to learn and able to take control of situations I have been able to develop a manner which allows people to trust, open up to and rely upon me. I have undertaken many courses ranging from leadership skills, personal and group fitness training, various outdoor pursuits and have continued to further my academic studies. These skills have rounded me as a person and will help me in the teaching environment. I am determined, open minded and work well either in a team or solo.
Through working in different environments such as gyms, schools, retail and hospitals I have met and overcome many challenges, finding new ways to engage with and motivate people from all walks of life. Learning along the way the necessity not only to teach and be taught but to encourage and guide others along with myself to be educated and gain insight from our own experiences.
I remain ever eager to learn and develop as a person and believe teaching is the ideal career for me, people and cultures come together through knowledge, education and language, I believe this is vital in today's world.

I have 6 years of teaching experience, ranging from kindergarten to middle school. I'm a hardworking, professional individual who is easygoing and I get along well with people of all ages.

I am a highly educated young person from South Africa, looking for a new experience abroad. I recently graduated from university and I would love to come teach in South Korea. I have a Bachelors degree as well as a Post-graduate degree in Bcom Financial Planning.

I am extremely good with people and adapt very easily into a new environment. My strengths are that I am overly enthusiastic and friendly, and also work very well with children. I use to be a qualified life guard and surf instructor, so working with children comes very naturally to me. I am very passionate about learning children new things.

I am use to working hard as I paid my way through varsity so I will always give it my all and do what is expected of me. My schooling was in English so the language is definitely not a problem to me.

I am very personable thanks in large part to many leadership positions I have had stemming from High School. I was Student Body President, President of the French Club, involved in sports, I was on a 2 year service mission in Korea and met and taught amazing people during my time there. Because of my experience living abroad, leading other people, and teaching as a Teacher's Assistant, I know that I have very desirable skills that will benefit the students who I am over.

I am a citizen of the United States with a Bachelor's Degree as well as a 120 hour TEFL certificate. I have my necessary E2 documents (apostilled diploma & background check) ready.

I believe I would be a good teacher because I'm a responsible professional who knows how to be nice and patient when someone is struggling with a language. I would be sure to correct mistakes in a polite way that makes sure they're still willing to keep at it.

I have been living and working in Iksan, South Korea as an English teacher for the past seven years. I have worked in both public elementary/middle schools and private hagwons. I think working in all different types of schools has helped to make me a well balanced teacher who is patient, hard working and creative when producing and presenting lessons. I have worked with students from age 6-19 and I have learned a lot about tweaking a lesson plan to suit different types or ages of students.

I am a qualified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language with many years of experience working in Korean and Japanese schools and academies as a native English Teacher. I have worked with kindergarten, elementary, middle-school and adult students. I am comfortable working in front of a class, and of tutoring students one-on-one. I am determined to develop my teaching skills further, and of learning new teaching methods for use in the classroom. I seek new challenges and greater responsibilities in my teaching career.

Experience: I tutored English to university students. I have developed Economic content for tests, assignments, and exams for college students. I have also taught dance to kids from the age of 6 – 18, and adults.

Personality: I am friendly, approachable, optimistic, patient and energetic.

Skills: I have studied overseas which has extended my horizons and enabled me to adapt to almost any environment. I am a quick learner and enjoy immersing myself in different cultures.

I am a passionate teacher who makes sure that every student in the class, no matter their level, is always learning. I’m youthful and energetic, always trying to improve whatever I get involved in. In the fourteen years and one term at Kamo High School, I always taught the top Year 12 math class. According to my H o D, I was given this class because the results of the class were always excellent. These results were obtained by teaching to a high level and always expecting the students to reach these high standards.
Also, during my second year there I initiated Wednesday after school tuition to three or four students in the library. By the time I left this had grown to about twenty students each Wednesday up in one of the math department classrooms with two or three teachers involved.
Throughout my teaching I was often involved in professional development such as Restorative Practice training, Te Kotahitanga, a program developed to help improve Maori academic performance as well as Teacher Effectiveness Training.

During five years in Wellington and two years in Ottawa I was involved in voluntary telephone counselling, usually putting in about 14 hours work each four-week roster cycle. While living in Ottawa for four and a half years I completed the equivalent of an additional BA in psychology extramurally through the University of Waterloo.

I am a flexible and attentive ESL teacher with excellent communication skills, with close to 8 years teaching experience in South Korea. I am organized and driven with the innate ability to stay on task. Uses effective and efficient methods of teaching while focusing on the individual needs of each student.
