ESL Teachers

I have lectured for final year law students. Taught high school learns' their right and responsibilities at various public school. I have also lead workshops for communities during which I have explained to community members their social rights.

My strengths are that I have strong perseverance skills, I love to succeed at my job and be better than just good at my job. I love to learn new facts and new skills and always want to improve my skills. I am an easily approachable and have a good ear. My friends always love to talk to me when they need some advice or coaching.

My skills that are critical for any teaching position as an ESL teacher is that I can easily share difficult information with people who are not so familiar with the information. I have learned that the best way of learning something new is through having fun and doing it in a creative way.

I am from South Africa and have a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and a 120-hour TEFL certificate I am familiar with and know how to teach US Common Core State Standards. I have taught online for almost a year and have teaching experience with children ages 4 to 18. I all use Total Physical Response(TPR) when applicable.

Beyond all the requirements that you have asked for, you will find that I am probably one of the most energetic teachers you ever met. I have grown to love teaching and teaching kids is rewarding. Teaching is my passion, and I look forward to working with you.

As a result of perfecting my writing and speaking skills in University, I have an excellent command of the English language. I pride myself in my patience and compassion for others. I am also hardworking and passionate about teaching my students. I have experience teaching English as a second language in China which has provided me with skills such as lesson planning and classroom management. I taught varying levels ranging from 5-12 years old. I am capable of adapting to any level and effectively teaching a class.

Throughout my career I have taught employees how to use specialist computer software and regularly presented reports on IT efficiency at a Solicitor’s firm. In addition to this I worked as a freelance web/graphic designer in my spare time, and had the opportunity to mentor children interested in this field.

Mentoring children has made me realise that I have a passion for sharing knowledge and teaching people. My natural, positive nature and optimistic outlook resonates well with children. My interest in culture, travel and language, and my great communication skills, means that I can quickly build relationships and inspire children to realise their potential. I decided to enrol on an online and classroom-based TEFL course which has equipped me with grammar & language awareness, classroom management skills and an array of teaching methodologies.

I'm an energetic, enthusiastic and adaptable candidate with a great passion for teaching and learning. I can’t wait to get started to share that passion with the next generation of talented, bilingual students.

Teaching preschool for seven years and earning a bachelor's degree in education has taught me many things. My university classes taught me how to create engaging lesson plans and teach with intent. Teaching in an actual classroom taught me how to be flexible with students and gave me the tools to be an effective teacher. As someone who has worked with other teachers, I've learned the importance of teamwork, flexibility and the importance of having good communication as a team.

I am a 22 year old English graduate from Ireland. I have my 120 hour Tefl Cert and Bachelor's Degree. My friend and I are travelling together and we are interested in couple jobs or being placed in the same general area/ accommodation. Her name is Grace Cahill and she has also applied for this position.

I am hard-working, diligent and detail orientated. I work well under pressure with time restraints in a fast-paced environment. I am comfortable being around new people as I interact with a variety of people (old and young) each day in my current job. I am the eldest of four in my family with a large extended family, so I am used to having a lot of young children around me which has helped developed my sense of responsibility. I am traveling with a friend from college, Kate Delaney who is also applying for this job. We hope to work in the same school and share accommodation.
