I have a strong passion for teaching. As a teacher, I have been successful because I also learn about my students. I deliver lessons that not only gives them the knowledge they need but to enjoy gaining this knowledge in a way that they find easy and fun.
I employ several methods in delivering my teaching material. I am not only a teacher but a student as well. I constantly search for ways to deliver my material in a better and different way to my students.
I am a team player and a hard worker who enjoys being around students and working with students.
My interests are meeting people, reading, traveling and computers.
I enjoy every moment of my teaching hours as I do it with responsibility and devotion. I get great pleasure and personal satisfaction from seeing students learn and apply what they have learned successfully.

As of 2018, I have been employed as a management consultant within the learning and development industry. As a result, I have come to specialise in the design, development and delivery of highly effective and targeted learning solutions, spanning across a diverse demographic. Each undertaking had demanded that I not only design an experience that is immersive, but so too one that is appropriate considering the audience in question. Consequently, I have had extensive experience when designing lessons and content that caters to a variety of learning styles, academic and linguistic levels, contrasting cultures and age brackets. Further, my position had demanded that I maintain an effective interpersonal relationship with several stakeholders, meaning that my ability to adjust and acclimatise to contrasting conditions and social groups has been sharpened and should hold me in good stead considering the nature of this industry.

I would like to work as a teacher for the beginner or intermediate level with your organization.
Although I do not have any previous experience of professional teaching yet, I do have prior experience of interacting with the students and understanding their basic problems and finding solution of the same. During my professional courses, I was taught to interact with the students in the way which makes it interesting to learn and I follow the same procedure while teaching. With a degree in education and the proper ways of teaching, I aim towards understanding the needs of the student and their fears and problems so that I can help them overcome them. Also, my teaching process is lucid enough enabling the students to thoroughly understand the concepts.

Some of my best strengths are working with children at every age group. I am able to communicate and understand well with children. I am also a very diligent worker who is able to get things done quickly. I also have many ideas up in my sleeves where I can come up with activities very quickly without having the needs to preparing.

I also like to plan different holidays and cultural activities that we celebrate in the western and global world out side of Korea.

My strengths in terms of working experience, personality and skills are the ability to communicate effectively, ability to learn fast and adapt to an environment, dedication, enthusiasm, creative thinker and the ability to work with co-workers. The above strengths were mostly acquired through coaching (sports) in different schools throughout my University years.

My name is Matthew Murphy and I am 29 years old. It has been a dream of mine to teach English as a foreign language for a number of years. I have recently completed my Masters graduate online programme (150 hours) and wish to move to South Korean in early 2020.
I visited Seoul in September and found the culture extremely intriguing. I loved every minute of being there and wish to return shortly.

One of my favourite jobs I had was being a football coach for a children's summer camp. I loved every minute or working with children and I found teaching a child a new skill to be extremely rewarding. I would love to be in such an environment once again.

I am currently the General Manager of a very busy restaurant. The skills I have developed through this role will greatly assist me in becoming the best teacher I can possibly be.
The skills of leading and training a team of 20-25 staff on a daily basis, ensuring staff are performing correctly and analysing areas staff may need retraining in.
The skills of forecasting and hitting targets on a weekly, monthly and six monthly basis. I must monitoring how progression is going and adjust accordingly.

I am a native English speaker with a degree in English. I have a passion for teaching, travelling, and new experiences. I am a responsible person who can adapt to new situations easily.

My background, as relevant to this position, includes work with young students in and out of schools. I have taught professionally and full-time as an English (EFL) Teacher in Bat Yam, Israel in a local elementary school and am currently a virtual English Teacher for Chinese students providing successful lessons to individual students to improve their language in a comprehensive way.

Currently, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from Millersville University and a government-issued license in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Levinsky College of Education, qualifying me to teach in any school as a full-time English Teacher.

In my current position as an English Teacher for VIPKID, I engage with students virtually in one-on-one lessons and develop skills in reading, writing and speaking.

In addition to my education and work experience, which you can read more about on my CV, I have learned skills in classroom management, lesson planning, creative thinking, and have developed personal tools to make a student more successful. I also have extensive writing experience through my university from working for my school’s newspaper to writing for my university’s alumni magazine. One of my main goals in life is to help students to gain a skill that will help them be significantly more successful in their lives, and I believe teaching English is one of the best starting points to that goal.

I am a conscientious worker, with strong communication skills and the ability to use my own initiative in tense or complex situations.
I am also a quick learner, with a strong regard for attention to detail. I have had ten years experience working in the TV industry in the UK. This required working to deadlines, time constraints and ever changing requirements. It was also my job to make sure large groups of people were updated with information that was imperative to the production. Time management, setting and completing tasks and considering which jobs took priority, when unplanned, was a daily expectancy.
My role included reading scripts, keeping on top of language, grammar and formatting to a high standard, to ensure that producers, actors and crew members were given quality material.

I work well in a team, however I am able to work on my own in completing work. I enjoy socialising, learning about different people, traditions and cultures. I have an innate ability to adapt to whatever environment I am in and people I am with, positivity and empathy.

The vast majority of my experience involves corporate consulting of a finance nature. This has allowed me to hone in skills such as communication, negotiation, analysis, time management and many more.

Relevant to teaching, I had the privilege of being appointed as a third year marketing tutor during my final honors year in University. This experience made me appreciate being able to play a pivotal part in my student's lives by being a catalyst in them learning and gaining interest in the subject matter. In addition to this I currently tutor under privileged children high school maths as volunteer work on weekends.

I am a very social person who enjoys interacting with people from all backgrounds of life. I enjoy travelling, trying out new food and technology. Lastly, I enjoy being around young people and being able to share worldly good values that are of importance in life.
