I am a native English speaker from South Africa. I am currently based in Hanoi, Vietnam and have been working with APAX English and with AMES English centre as well, with a combined experience of 2 years. I hold a Bachelor of Social Science in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of KwaZulu-Natal as well as an Honors degree from the University of South Africa in a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management. have also completed a 120-hour TESOL course. Thus, I am confident that I satisfy the requirements listed for the position.

I have chosen to pursue a career in teaching due to my passion for wanting to make a difference as well as work with children. I am a hardworking, humble and easy-going person. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching over the past year and would love to continue this experience in South Korea. I'm a passionate, empathetic individual with a strong work ethic. Where I haven't had teaching experience, I have had previous jobs where leadership and teaching have been skills I have developed. I believe that teaching is one of the most noble professions one can have and know that I possess the skills that would make a great teacher.

I have completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2019, and I have a keen interest in child development. I believe this is beneficial when teaching children because I can adapt to each child’s needs in the classroom. I have 4-years experience in caring for children between the ages of 2 to 11 years old. This is beneficial because I am capable of handling a wide range of issues related to children, such as tantrums or fights between children. I also know how to engage a child's interest through activities that keep them entertained and happy to learn. I love to work with children and I have an endless amount of patience. While babysitting I worked with children who only spoke French and I helped the older children do their English homework.
I have a real desire to improve the lives of others by teaching English. I look forward to creating exciting and engaging lessons to motivate my students and help them to learn effectively. It would be a privilege to teach English and help students connect to English speaking parts of the world.

Through my previous position in Spain, I have experience in teaching students of all ages from 3-4 year old toddlers to professionals in their 40's and above. I also have previous experience of teaching new skills to young people through my background in The Scouts, and I am quite good at finding the balance between maintaining discipline and ensuring a fun environment that is conducive to learning.

My educational background is, in my opinion, another advantage. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in The Humanities, which included modules in Psychology, Philosophy, History, Literature, Theology, Drama and Media Studies: all of which require an ability to understand and consider the perspectives of others, as well as promoting generally creative and "outside the box" thinking. Additionally, I believe teaching is a performance art, and my background in theatre (see CV) is very useful in this regard.

Teaching is one of my great passions, and my philosophy says that the needs of the students must always come first. For this reason I am always kind and professional when dealing with pupils of any age, but I also do not tolerate any bad behaviour in my classroom, as this is ultimately not good either for the other students or even for the student who is misbehaving.

I am a university graduate who has been teaching English in Korea for last two years. I enjoy assisting children to help improve their learning and better their English skills. I have experience teaching elementary school grades 3– 6; I am able to adapt my teaching methods depending on the students’ levels and needs. I am an outgoing and enthusiastic individual, with experience leading classes and conducting English based workshops.

I am currently a Psychology and Public Health PhD student (online) who created her own global heath research lab at the age of 23. I was a research student for Columbia University studying human rights, language and global culture. I spent a semester doing social policy research for UPenn as well.

I am well versed in literacy, design, communications, collaborating, classroom management, teamwork and advance as displayed by my experience and my own methods of education

I am currently living in South Korea and working as an ESL English teacher. I have been here for almost a year and I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience regarding teaching, culture and the history of Korea.

We are a mid-twenties, Irish couple excited about the chance to work for your school as teachers.
