ESL Teachers

I have been teaching English in Madrid, Spain for over 5 years. I have worked with children from age 3-18 and I have also worked at an adult school. I have also been teaching English online to Chinese children for 3 years. I have a very personalized style of teaching as I am able to relate with English learners in knowing how difficult it is to learn a new language. Because I’ve taught all ages, I know how each level learns. I am able to use my skills and experience to create an positive atmosphere that makes English learners comfortable.

I have done a gap year, where I solely focused on improving myself and discovering what I am passionate about and it has been clear that I have a huge interest in helping others to reach their full potential and to walk the journey through with them. Some of the courses I have completed during this time includes a critical thinking course, positive thinking course, time and stress management course and a health and nutrition course. I am sure that I can incorporate the skills I learnt into my teaching career.

I would consider myself to be a positive and uplifting person with a very talkative and loving personality. I have a very high work ethic standard that I hold myself to, so I take pride in completing my tasks before deadlines and to the best of my ability. I take full responsibility for my mistakes and I always look to improve in any area that I fall short in.

I am and have been in a multicultural school, church and university so I am familiar with other cultures and I love to learn from them and to find a common ground where we can interact with one another and reach common goals that we have set. I am excited to emerge myself in the rich culture of Korea and will most certainly participate in activities within my area. I do not consider myself above anyone else and I work very well under the authority of others and I see people in positions of authority as potential mentors that I can consult during my career.

I am an enthusiastic business and marketing graduate, graduating with a 2:1 from the University of Stirling last month. I have experience working as a tour guide at two of Scotlands most well known distilleries, Glenfiddich and Cardhu, taking tours of up to 50 people from all across the world. These experiences have developed my confidence and team working abilities. I am proficient with IT software and Microsoft suite. I love travelling and exploring new places. I am currently enrolled on the 120 hour TEFL.org premium package which I estimate will be completed next week.

I am a female New Zealand citizen and a native English speaker. I would like to apply for the positions in Seoul with single accomodation I have volunteer experience tutoring and teaching English to kids of all ages and also kids and adult of special needs. My volunteer and internship has provided me with an eye to detail and experience on how to navigate a classroom and my communication skills.
I'm an optimistic and patient individual that enjoys providing learning experience to people with all ages.

With a background in ESOL education at Cobb County Schools in Marietta, Georgia, I believe my skills would be perfect for this position. For three years, I worked as a Family and Community Support facilitator which requires attention to detail, creating study aids, working with students and parents on progress of learning, delegation, lesson planning, working with department heads and following a strict schedule, all of which are required to be a proper educator.
These each make me a well-rounded candidate for the position. I believe my background in theatre also makes me more well rounded because I am able to work with many types of personalities and am prepared for whatever might come my way.

I graduated at Gallaudet University and majored in International Studies. My field can be anything to work with companies, government, or teaching with children/special children. I would like to get new experience working with children and I am good with write and read to help them able to understand English better. I am deaf and I have ability to speak, I believe that it is good suitable for me to work with kindergarten. When I have spare time, I helping people around me who are learning English as I noticing that people who able to understand English better with a lot of explanation and gave example what word look like, but as for children, they need to have a lot of vision and more active to understand the word better. I love little children and I would love to see them bring their bright future.

I'm a recent CELTA certified teacher who is enthusiastic, empathetic and effective, and I have worked with a variety of age groups, both children and adults.

My greatest strength is my ability to speak publicly in a comfortable manner, and to create effective lessons covering receptive skills, productive skills, and language systems. My ability for clarification of language points, like vocabulary, phonology, grammar, and functions of the English language is another great strength, as well as creating strong and detailed lesson plans and language analyses.

I've worked in the behavioral health field for most of my career, and have led countless classes regarding recovery for at risk people; this required detailed analysis of people and their behavior, and quick thinking. These experiences have also allowed me to become well equipped for situations which require mediation of conflict, preparation of documentation, and adhering to a strict schedule. I also had to create lessons for my class, often making my own materials, and adapting material from existing textbooks.

JOSE ANDERSON TAN ARANETA

Hi my name is Jose, 36 years of age and currently based here in the United Kingdom. I’m a trained English tutor. I believe in this life quote – There is no glory without sacrifice. I speak three languages, they are English, Filipino and a bit of Spanish. I am using English most of the time especially at work settings and talking with my friends.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing last 2006 at Western Mindanao State University in the Philippines. Part of my training was conducting health teaching to my clients in the community and case presentations in the hospitals. After I finished my degree, I decided to apply as a First Aid volunteer at Philippine National Red Cross and then I progressed as a Teacher, teaching Basic Life Support to school ages from 10 to 15. One of the things that was included in my Red Cross teaching was making sure that my students acquired the basic knowledge and understanding on how to perform Basic Life Support.

My primary and secondary education at Immaculate Conception Archdiocesan School was from 1996 to 2001. These are the subjects that were included in the curriculum which were English language, English literature, Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Music Arts and Physical Education, Science and Health, Computer literacy, Character formation and Good Manner and Right Conduct. Also we had a practice teaching demonstration as part of our curriculum. To further my studies, I came to the United Kingdom in 2008 and did a BSc Hons in Health and Social Care. I obtained 270 credits in my studies at Anglia Ruskin University. Part of my application to become a student in the U.K. was to take the International English Language Testing System – IELTS – and meet the language requirements here in the United Kingdom.

I like travelling, internet surfing and reading books in my spare time. I also like visiting National Trust sites and discovering some of their treasures. These are just some of my hobbies to keep my life going and growing.

I have been in the UK for twelve years and developed my skills in the English language. I am attracted to the role because I want to further develop my teaching skills and for my professional growth and development. I am very much looking forward to working with your company, because I believe it will help me develop my professional skills in teaching. I posses good interpersonal and communication skills and a basic knowledge of IT skills.I am hardworking, flexible, caring and patient.

As a mechanical engineering graduate, I feel as though I have strong analytical skills. This means that I can judge classroom activities and situations and amend them to make the learning experience more efficient and positive for the students.
A personality trait of mine is enthusiasm. I feel as though this translates well to students, who are then more receptive to learning.
Another important trait that I have developed has been patience. As all students learn at their own pace and in their own way, it is important to remain patient in helping them all.
One of my years of university was spent in Malaysia. This was an excellent experience for me, and taught me many things. For example, adaptability through learning in new ways and adapting to the norms of a foreign country. This is a skill that will carry over to this role.
Furthermore, my year in Malaysia was a chance for me to explore communication in a new way- non verbal communication, being mindful of different cultures and how I express the words I want to say. This is an invaluable skill that aids in the teaching of students at all levels of English proficiency.
Finally, being organised is something I pride myself with. As a teacher, being organised is imperative- if you are organised, the students are able to learn effectively.
