My strengths as a teacher include being able to assess children's difficulties in studying English and helping them be successful.
I am very patient and understanding when studying a second language because I myself am learning other languages and it's not easy. My job as a teacher is to guide every student with patience and kindness. My passion in class is using my singing voice and dancing while learning English too. Children love to see their teacher be silly and have fun while learning.

Teaching English as a Foreign Language has always appealed to me; combining my passion for teaching and education with my desire to explore new places and cultures. Working as a playworker, a TLSA and now as a Trainee teacher, my career path as an educator is still continuing to unfold before me. By July 2022, I will have earned my PGCE in Primary Education and will gain qualified teacher status, in addition to my experience in the education field of over 5 years.
Whilst educating in a broader sense has been appealing, I have always had a specific interest in languages; learning both Chinese and French in school, undertaking Japanese through self-study and having a love for the intricacies of the English language. As someone so absorbed in different languages, I feel that my experiences are easily reversable, and will enable me to be an effective EFL teacher myself.
During the initial COVID 19 lockdown, I began researching TEFL in more depth, and undertook a 168-hour Level 5 TEFL course in this time.
As a confident, hard-working and enthusiastic person, I can truly thrive in a lively classroom environment. I pride myself on my punctuality and professionalism, and feel that my sensitivity to cultural differences would benefit me in South Korea. I consider teaching a career that is a great fit for me, as I find expanding on my knowledge and solving problems incredibly fulfilling. This love for learning has ultimately led me to find teaching so rewarding. My passion for languages will help me take this to the next level, and hopefully begin my TEFL journey in Korea.

I’ve worked with children in a daycare for about 4 months as of January 5, 2022. I’ve also been an academic tutor for 2 years as well. I love to teach and it’s always been a passion of mine to be a teacher.

I have over six years experience of statistical and data analysis. I am a team player with great communication skill, time management skill, and a strong work ethic. In terms of personality, I am friendly, approachable, caring, and empathetic. Moreover, my hobbies are reading and traveling.

I have a calm and patient personality which I think is required for teaching young learners a foreign language where comprehension skills are key. My TEFL qualification has given me experience with how to teach young learners a new language, where for example I was taught how to engage the students with various classroom activities in order to attain focus. I have been growing fascinated by Korea and I am excited at the prospect of immersing myself in Korean culture by teaching young learners at The English School. My recent TEFL training has prepared me for the demands expected from this position. My interest in exploring other cultures led me to successfully plan out and go on a solo trip across New Zealand. This inspired me to continue exploring more of the rich wonders the world has to offer.

Although this is the beginning of my journey as an EFL teacher, you will see from my resume that I have gained vast skills and experience across many team and customer-facing positions. In my current role, where I apply strong communication and attention to detail, I lead regular discussions over the high priority issues I have identified, ensuring high quality work is always delivered. In addition to this, I enjoy sharing my expertise to support colleagues and clients alike. Teaching felt like a natural progression from this as I have found helping others to be very rewarding. I thrive on opportunities to grow, so I recently enrolled in a public speaking club to develop these skills. This has pushed me to stand up and speak in a room full of strangers as well as learn from experienced public speakers.

To summarise, in addition to my professional and academic skill set, my passion towards helping others progress demonstrates my caring and highly dedicated nature. I am a newly qualified teacher with 1 year and 5 months experience teaching 3rd grade teaching English, mathematics and Life Skills.

I am a young energetic and passionate teacher, I love working with children in a fun and hands on manner. I am friendly and approachable and strive to create a safe and happy classroom environment.

I am computer literate, I work well in a team, I am a organised and have a good turnaround time, I am able to teach English as a foreign language.

During the period studying for my TEFL certificate, I was exposed to various methods of teaching and ways to interact with the children. My ability to teach a complex subject in a simple way makes my application for teacher a valid and just cause. Although I have not worked as a professional teacher before, I believe I do have the mind-set and ability for teaching the students in the correct way.

I have already taught English in Asia and Europe for a number of different age groups. I am someone who can adapt into any environment and thrives on learning about new cultures.

A teacher can change a person’s life; not only through education, but also as an individual and it is vital that a teacher does everything they possibly can to help a student succeed. I completed a three year Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and International Relations. This field of study relies heavily on communication, whether this was through topical debates, teaching fellow students about different topics, through presentations, or working in a team to complete an assignment.

I have also completed a 168-hour Level 5 TEFL certificate which provided me with the knowledge and guidance on how to effectively teach students of different ages, abilities and needs.

I volunteered in a ‘Young Readers Scheme’ when I was 16/17 years old. During this scheme, I helped an 11/12 year old student to develop their reading ability and confidence. We would read a book or news article together and then complete an activity to consolidate their learning.
