I have worked as a manager in multiple roles and just recently finished up my Bachelor's degree from WGU. I originally went to UC for Aviation but unforeseen circumstances made me transfer. I pick-up on things very easily and am well versed with computers. I have a 168 Hour Level 5 TEFL Certification.

I work great under pressure, making sure to always do my best while also striving to improve myself. I am able to work well with others and by myself, when needed, and always aim to maintain a positive work environment; uplifting others and helping them is what I do best. I'm able to learn and adapt quite quickly depending on the situations and can keep myself organized, keeping myself prepared for the unexpected.

I possess the compassion and patience necessary to teach individuals of any level. I am capable of adapting my approach to suit the needs of any student, especially if the student is having trouble learning. My experience working in entertainment allows me to teach in a way that is both insightful and engaging.

I have an Bachelor's Degree of Arts and have worked as a music composer and a television writer. I have obtained the TEFL 120-hr certification, in under three months. I speak three languages – English, Spanish and Italian – and currently learning to speak Korean.

I have worked in school settings on and off for the last 5 years and am very comfortable teaching and working with children. I worked as a lead preschool teacher full time for a year and loved my experience. I am very passionate about education and find it very rewarding to work in a classroom setting and see in real time how my teaching impacts the students. I am also very good at adapting to new working environments and am quick to dive head first into any challenges I may face. I am eager to perform well and I always complete my tasks to the best of my abilities.

I’m also culturally sensitive and open-minded, which allows me to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds. I have lived in Vietnam for the past 9 months. During this time it allowed me to fully immerse myself in the culture, build meaningful connections with the community, and adapt my teaching style to fit the local context and classroom environment. Not only have I lived in Vietnam but I have travelled around south east Asia which has only furthered my confidence, adaptability and time management.

I have experience teaching English to students age 2-10-year-old students in Vietnam, where I created interactive and age-appropriate lesson plans that supported language development and student engagement. This hands-on classroom experience has given me a strong understanding of how to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs and different curriculums. I like to use interactive games, big gestures, stickers, use my body language- just generally making my lesson engaging. I had two teddies who I would throw to a children when they wanted to answer. I did a few big events where I had to host games for 300 children.

I possess strong communication and classroom management skills, as well as the ability to design creative, student-centered lessons. My background in customer service has further enhanced my problem-solving abilities and professionalism, both of which support effective teaching and collaboration with colleagues and parents.
