I am passionate about helping others learn. During my time at The University of Birmingham, I had the opportunity to tutor and help students with their essay writing skills and I also led study sessions with my peers. This gave me confidence with speaking in large groups which later helped me when it came to presenting projects in the classroom.

During my time at Northampton University I studied Law and as a result, I was able to develop my organisational skills as I had to prepare for 5 different lectures and study groups everyday on a weekly basis. Whilst studying I also worked at H&M where I was a Department Manager. I had to work efficiently and manage a team of around 30+ staff, delegating roles and organising my department during each shift.

Once I had finished my studies I began working for HMCTS at Northampton County Court. During my time there I have grown further in confidence and my communication skills with the people i work with as well as the general public has improved. I aim to give a warm reception to everyone I meet and always maintain a positive and respectful attitude in the workplace.

I enjoy working with kids and can effectively communicate and teach things in ways that they can understand. I am also very confident in my English, from grammar to reading and writing.
Additionally, although I am not fluent in Korean, I recently studied abroad at Korea University in 2020 so I am familiar with the culture and customs.

My strength on terms of personality is that I enjoy working with people, I am adaptable and able to work in a high pressured environment.

In terms of skill and experience is that I have 2 years of tutoring experience. I used to tutor high school kids with math and science and that's where my love of teaching came from. I also have 5 months of volunteering experience at a day care center.

I have 3 years of teaching experience, 2 years at college level and 1 year of ESL teaching in South Korea.

I can work well independently and within groups.
I have great communication, intepersonal and problem solving skills.
I am innovative and always try to find solutions that may simplify or automate strenuous tasks.

I am youthful, vibrant and very optimistic. I always choose to look at the positives things and not the negative, and if a negative situation may arise I always try to find ways to turn it around to get a positive outcome.
I am full of life and energy, this transfers into the classroom as well, ensuring there are not many dull moments in class allowing students to get the most out of each class.

A shortfall might be that I am bit of a perfectionist, I always strive to have things done in the best possible way. However this might not always be possible and may cause habit of frustration however I always continue to get the utmost best out of every task.

I am a cheerful, lively person who has been described as having a bubbly personality. I am honest, hardworking and a great team player. I have excellent interpersonal skills and integrity is of utmost importance to me.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Surrey and have worked as an Engineer for 4 years.
I have also worked as a Carer for a physically disabled person where I had to look after my employer and be a companion to them. Previous to this, I have worked briefly in retail and at a theme park which helped to improve my customer service skills.
I enjoy music and am able to play the piano (grade 6) and the flute (grade 5). Prior to the pandemic, I played the keyboard and sang backing vocals in the church band.
I used to help run the church youth group and helped teach the kids in children's church on a Sunday.

In terms of experience, I have taught life skills and behavioral development classes for women ages 18 and up as an Addiction Recovery Technician for the past year. I have also tutored high school students that struggled with their English classes, and have tutored conversational English skills on Cambly for around a month now. I am going to be doing my practicum placement for my degree with Children's Division as well, so I will have a good amount of experience working with children due to that.

I am an extremely hard worker managing a full time job on top of university classes. My coworkers and classmates have stated that I am very positive, outgoing, and fun to be around and that I always bring good energy to my surroundings. I also am never afraid to try new things in order to expand my knowledge base. Currently, I am learning how to skateboard and play the piano, but I am always open to new hobbies and enjoy incorporating engaging activities into my everyday life (and hopefully into my lessons).

In December, I will be graduating with a Bachelors in Social Work meaning that I will have the skills to de-escalate intense situations, mediate arguments, and understand the reasons behind behavioral issues that may arise. I am skilled in active listening and practicing empathy as well. I am known to fix issues at work too; I have fixed freezers, computers, cameras, and keyboards due to my resourcefulness. I am always open to learning new things and I pick up skills quickly as well. I am also very open to developing any skills that are deemed necessary before I become a teacher in South Korea!

I am an English teacher with experience working alongside kindergarten, elementary, middle school, and adult students. I have a nurturing and patient personality with proven experience in helping English learners become proficient and confident in their English abilities.
