I am a fun and outgoing person who loves kids. I have 4 years volunteer experience at a kiddies church for ages 7-11. I love working with kids and entertaining them. I also work well under pressure and have good leadership skills. I’m easily adaptable to environments and cultures.

I am a certified Dramatic Arts and Creative Arts teacher with excellent verbal communication, writing skills and effective teaching methods. I have successfully taught diverse groups of learners when I was a student teacher (Grade 11, 10 & 9). I am also skilled at evaluating learner’s needs and developing teaching strategies, materials, and lesson plans. I am well organized, able to control larger and small group of learners. I have teaching methods that received excellent responses from learners when I was doing my teaching practical’s. My teaching strategies encourage learners to participate in class discussions and projects. In generally, I am a person who loves to impact other people with knowledge, I am open minded and always willing to hear and learn about other cultures traditions and norms.

I am fresh out of college and ready to start putting my degree to work. So in terms of experience, I've worked in several daycares and have been in situations where quick thinking and strategizing are a must to ensure the kids I'm responsible for are learning the basics and are learning them safely. I like to see things to the end and push for the very best possible solution. I don't like the words “I can't do it” coming from any child and strive to change that to “I can do it” because it warms my heart to see them smile when they have learned from their mistakes and achieved their goal.

I have had a lot of experience teaching younger students, older students and adults. I worked several years at a Japanese language school as a teaching aide for younger students. I have worked with and overseen adults in a professional capacity of government elections for many years. I have worked with disabled children and adults as a caregiver and teacher.
I have instructed individuals and groups for many years in Girl Scouts.

I am a hardworking, enthusiastic and considerate worker. I like to see projects through to completion and provide the best results possible. I love teaching and working with children. I am kind, compassionate and patient when learning takes longer or more effort is needed. I am not afraid to ask for help or to admit something is wrong and always try to learn from my mistakes.

My skills include being very good at preparation, which combined with my experience in lesson planning means that every lesson is careful thought out. I also have the confidence to implement these lesson plans effectively.

My name is Delfina and I’m applying from the United Kingdom for a position at one of your schools.
I have worked with children and young people in many capacities – as a tutor, as an assistant to a language teacher and as a representative of my university – helping them to choose the right place for their higher education.
While in high school, I worked as a private tutor for a kindergarten-aged child in English as a second language, numerical skill development and basic acquisition of Spanish as a third languages. Later, I also worked with young people (13-15) to develop Spanish language skills, providing administrative assistance to main teacher.
Alongside my course at university, I was a Cub Scout Leader, working with 5th grade children on skill building and social skills, as well as having some responsibility for event planning.

During my time working with young people, it became evident that children find me approachable when establishing rapport. Upon further working together, I have found students comfortable in making mistakes, due to my correcting by example and allowing for a comfortable environment for learning.
Friends and peers have described me as adaptable, both to new environments and to fast-changing situations. This makes me a strong candidate for working with young children, who can also be unpredictable.
All students in my care are there to grow and excel in English, in which we share a common goal. In my opinion, it is very hard to become a teacher if one does not care for their students. Working as a student ambassador for my university gave me access to people with dreams, as well as the ability to help them choose the right path for their fulfilment. A position at one of your schools would help me to bring a new generation of language speakers into the virtual, worldwide Anglosphere.
Apart from my dedication to sharing the language, I am also enthusiastic about sharing elements of culture and stories of experiences as they differ between our countries. I believe that culture is best when shared and that is a goal to which I am wholeheartedly committed.

My general people skills from previous customer-facing roles give me confidence in speaking in front of people.
I am a strong communicator with a passion for the international education industry.
Throughout my time at school, I developed a good work ethic, which was only strengthened while at university, allowing me to work with the Scout Association at the same time as studying. Taking on this role also required quick learning, as I had to assume joint responsibility for the young people from day one.
While I have social, cultural, and historical knowledge of the United Kingdom, having lived here for the majority of my life, as a child I did emigrate here with my family. Having overcome culture shock as a child, I have never had trouble with this when travelling in my adult life – I could quickly adapt to new conditions in the workplace. Not only that, but I also have experience in learning English as a foreign language, from zero to native-like fluency.
Perhaps most importantly, I am multilingual, and often find myself in the student’s position when studying Spanish and Korean. Here, I can observe the best practices of my teachers from a student’s point of view and use it to teach others in a way that is not overwhelming.
