I have worked as an English teacher both in China and over the internet, and on top of that I am a former language student, so I know how to teach a foreign language as well as how to learn, meaning I am able to connect with students very well.

I am an outgoing person who has zero issue making friends and communicating to people from many different backgrounds.

As a hobby I enjoy weightlifting, meaning that I am dedicated and able to withstand a lot of pressure, both physically and mentally.

I have achieved a Bachelor’s of Arts in English, concentrating in linguistics, as well as a minor in Japanese. I am soon to complete a 120-hour TEFL course, along with a 30-hour advanced course in teaching young learners. I believe I have the ideal skills set, desire, and drive to successfully fill the role of an English teacher. Being a language learner myself, I have an understanding not only of what it’s like as a student, but also how much fun and rewarding learning a second language can really be. I am interested in being an English teacher because I have a strong passion to help others achieve their language goals.

I am a highly organised, friendly and patient person with a BSc degree, a 120-hour TEFL qualification and several forms of experience in tutoring and mentoring. I am currently working as an English Editor and Trainer, which is a job that has made me very proficient in both the written English language and tutoring other people.
I am comfortable with both children and adults, and I am capable of talking in front of groups of people.
I have always been very interested in foreign languages, culture, history and food, so the idea of working in South Korea is exciting to me. I easily remain calm and focused under pressure, and I enjoy new challenges. All of these things make me confident that I would be a good TEFL teacher in a foreign country.

In the classroom, I like to get creative and have fun with students in order to encourage them and engage their minds. Having worked in Japan, China and Italy as an English teacher and tutor, I have a solid amount of teaching experience abroad with children from kindergarten age to high school age. I have also visited Korea a number of times in the past, so I am familiar with day-to-day life in Korea.
I am a recent university graduate, majoring in childhood and youth studies with first-class honours. The degree mainly focuses on child psychology and mental development, which is very pertinent when working with children. Additionally, I have a 150-hour TEFL certification.

I am passionate about forging relationships with students that build a sense of confidence and enable them to grow as learners. I am very ambitious, driven and hardworking.

I’ve been a kindergarten classroom teacher for a year. Before becoming a classroom teacher I worked as a tutor for 2 years, I was helping students improve their academic performance including study strategies, note-taking skills and approaches to answering test questions and assignments. I am very passionate about teaching and I believe that teaching is my calling. I believe that education is the foundation of success and is a lifelong learning process, and it shouldn’t be limited to classroom dictation and expectation. As an educator, I want to make a difference in education.

My teaching style, I have grown into an analytical teacher. I foster a positive learning environment where I Forster learners’ to develop their own individual should kills, for me it’s about finding the balance between the learners needs, interest and individual skills and being able to incorporate that in a classroom setting, And in turn, this information allows me to build a lesson with more creative energy. So, I need to think outside the box and gather more strategies from new sources.

This experience taught me how to manage small/larger class sizes, work with kids of various skill levels and backgrounds, and use technology to encourage learning and retention.

I am a 4th year teacher currently working in Canada. I believe my patience, organization, time management and previous teaching experiences make me a great candidate for a position at your school.

Currently I hold qualifications in Kindergarten, Primary, Junior, Intermediate (Math and Geography) Senior (Math and Geography), Special Education and Teaching English Language learners. This school year, I am working at a Public School as a Grade 7 homeroom generalist teacher, teaching all subjects. Previously to this position I was the Ministry Prep, Learning Resource and Intermediate Student Success Teacher (guidance).

Prior to this, I worked in three separate kindergarten classes 2 in Canada and 1 in London England and currently support in the kindergarten classroom at my current school. I have a strong understanding of Early childhood education and a strong grasp of how to make centers and activities which are holistic and cross curricular in nature. I have also taken a number of Professional development workshops on teaching language and math to Kinder aged students.

Most of my work life I have worked in a service industry where I have been in direct communication with people. I have built effective communication and technical skills. I am compassionate and tenacious. I am wanting to make a positive impact and difference in people's day to day activities. In the last 5 years I have worked in a fast-paced customer services environment making sure that I keep up to date with trends and changes in the industry to keep the customers happy. With everything being said and spread on social media fast, I had to make sure I follow protocol and rules and had to adapt within the minute.

I have also been much involved with our young adults and little kids at church over the years because my husband served as the Sunday school and Youth Priest. We have for the past 2 years been responsible for our general community at church also. I am kindhearted, trustworthy, reliable, flexible, and friendly.

I have been a tutor at the University of the Western Cape for the third year Industrial Psychology students. I had assisted students to complete assignments and learned the students new concepts. Also, studying lesson plans and assigned new projects, reviewing textbooks to prepare for a lesson. Answering questions from students on different topics.

I had opted to do honours in Industrial Psychology because human behaviour had always intrigued me. I constantly analyse people's actions, finding myself question why? This might lead to the question why I have decided to go in to teaching. I have always wanted to be a teacher. After I have completed school, I applied to study education but after a year switched to Industrial Psychology and life took me in a different direction. This is the time now wanting to follow up on this childhood dream.
