I have experience teaching English, math, and science to kindergarten students. I also have experience teaching English to elementary and middle school students. I am an enthusiastic teacher with an outgoing personality, with the ability to cooperate with a team. Qualifications include a 120-hours TEFL certificate and a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in health promotion and health education at Nation University, California, and with a Bachelor's in Global Studies in Human Rights and Cross-Cultural Communication. In addition, teaching experience in the United States and international volunteer experience as an ESL teacher in Angola and South Africa to children and adults. I have successfully prepared students for interviews at an international school. I posse experience teaching diverse demographics of students with different learning styles. To motivate students to increase their confidence to speak English.

I am a hardworking, confident individual and take pride in everything I do. It is my opinion that any child is capable of learning and I know I can deliver the amount of care and attention required to make this happen.

I recently completed a 168-hour Level 5 TEFL course from TEFL.org. The skills and methods I learnt from this, coupled with the interpersonal and leadership skills I developed while working as a customer advisor in a shop and while volunteering to be a tutoring mentor at university, would allow me to teach a class in a fun, controlled way.

I am a driven, enthusiastic, caring and fun individual and helping other people has always been highly important to me. I volunteered for various schemes in school where I would help students. One that stands out to me is helping younger children improve their reading and English ability. Each week I would spend time reading books or articles with a student and then complete tasks based on the reading, which I had designed. This provided me with knowledge on how to tailor tasks and learning to different students, based on their needs.

I completed a 168 hour Level 5 Online TEFL course which I thoroughly enjoyed. This course covered a wide range of topics from teaching children of different ages, abilities and class sizes to teaching over the phone. This course gave me a huge insight into what makes a successful teaching environment for children and what discourages children from learning.

Sports and being active have always been passions of mine. My hobbies include running, swimming, tennis and rounders. I love playing sports with others as it allows us to bond as a team and learn how to cooperate better with one another. I volunteered to help coach younger children play rounders. I absolutely loved sharing my passion with other students and seeing them improve and learn to love a sport some of them did not enjoy, was incredible to see.

I believe a great teacher who has faith in a child's abilities and will push them to achieve the best they possibly can be; can help change a child's life forever. I would love an exciting opportunity to join a school team abroad, which provides me with the ability to help children thrive both educationally and as citizens.

Throughout my past professional career, I have undertaken various important responsibilities with utmost sincerity. After graduation I
became a peer educator, which equipped me with experience of teaching. I worked alongside a teacher teaching life skills. I taugt in elementaryschool, where I used lelearn centred style which allowed students to engage and participate in the lesson which lead to learners enjoying the lesson and wanting to learn.
I understand that being an ESL teacher requires one to have an ability to forming good relationship with students, colleagues and parents and be
open minded and have the ability to navigate difference in culture flexibility and I believe that I hold those traits. Helping students establish their personal, vocational, academic goal is a passion of mine which I strive for.
