I have a Dual Masters Degree in Education to teach grades 1-6, and to teach special education grades 1-6. I was a substitute teacher from September 2021 until June 2022, where I have had to fill in for kindergarten teachers, all the way through sixth grade teachers.

I always have a cheery, and excited attitude when I am in the classroom. I want students to enjoy their time learning, and understand that the classroom is a positive place for their creativity to shine.

I do possess skills in teaching the phonetics of the English language using different teaching methods. I have extensive experience teaching young students phonetics from my time substituting for a kindergarten teacher for several weeks.

I also have different types of classroom management methods that I use when in the classroom, all while promoting a positive classroom environment and atmosphere.

I additionally have skills in regards to addressing the needs of struggling students, and have knowledge of different teaching methods that can be used to address my students' needs.

My experience working as a Teacher's Assistant at a daycare has given me the important skills needed to teach young children. As my time as a teacher, I prepared children for pre-school by helping them with behavioral issues, teaching them to follow a schedule, and teaching them some basic knowledge they need to succeed in their next stage of school. I have much experience with classroom management, and I have different methods to maintain a positive and safe classroom environment for all students.

As an extrovert, I strive to bring energy to the classroom and make students feel at ease. It is important to maintain a positive learning environment where students are comfortable.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, and I am a talented speaker and presenter. I am clear in my directions and the way that I speak. I am able to read hangul, though I'm not able to speak Korean yet. I'm creative and passionate about art, so I would love to incorporate fun and meaningful activities into my lessons and promote creativity within students.

I have four years of teaching experience in Korea, a year of teaching experience in a Chinese academy in America, and three years of science tutoring experience for university level students in America.

During my undergraduate career, I have researched and developed an understanding of the
importance of health education and community development. As a result, I am consistently cognizant of
being a leader who is capable of bringing the team together. A minor in International Studies has also
prepared me to be culturally competent.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect with members of the community, a vital skill when building relationships and communicating with stakeholders. While tutor at Transitions Alternative School, I had the opportunity to strengthen my communication and engagement skills through public education. I learned the importance of building rapport and the impact it has on a student's ability to retain the information shared with them.

I am recognized for being a dependable, generous, and flexible team member and employee. My
Administrative Assistance experience allows me to be responsible and organized. I perform well under
pressure, practice effective time management, and seek opportunities to improve efficiency. My software
skills include proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, which allows me to create detailed and
timely reports.
