Good day, my name is Onaopepo but most people call me Tunji or TJ. I stayed in China for 4.5 years and worked part time as an ESL teacher and Private English tutor for about 3 years.
I'm a hard working individual, very enthusiastic and charismatic, I enjoy learning new things and relating to people in different ways, I especially love working with children because I think they're so real and so awesome and we get along really well.
I'm also a multifaceted individual, I enjoy getting my hands involved in many things and some of my hobbies and interests include art, photography, writing poetry, playing sports, hiking, cooking and baking, so I could definitely make some brownies for my kids and colleagues!
Overall I just believe that the role as a teacher suits me, I love watching the kids learn new things and grow, it brings me a lot of fulfillment.

In terms of experience I have 120+ of TEFL courses completed and passed with impressed and positive feedback on all assignments. The course covered grammar, methodology, teaching young and adult learners, teaching online and telephone classes, and video observation skills assessments.

I am a quick learner and confident in my own abilities. I use what I already know to further what I can learn and how to apply it. I am also focused and organised when it comes to tasks that need to be completed. I excel at communication as well, something that I believe is of great importance. Before moving abroad I served in the nonprofit sector working as a Site Manager for Jumpstart at Lehman College in New York. I am very passionate about education and community service and I put this passion into all of the work I do.

Hi, I'm Onaopepo but most people call me Tunji, or “TJ” for short. I'm a recently graduated medical doctor from Shandong international school in China.

During my stay there I taught English part time, first at a formal private institute for about a year and then later moving on to become a private tutor for families in China, I did that for about 3 years.

I really enjoyed the experience as it brought be great joy and fulfillment, working with the kids was an absolute blast and I learnt so much from them too.

I'm someone who's eager to experience new things, I love learning. I'm charismatic but also very cool and collected, nothing really fazes me, I'm extremely patient, caring and have great communication skills.

I'm also a multifaceted individual, I enjoy playing sports as well as writing, art, painting, photography, cooking and baking so my kids and colleagues could definitely be treated to some brownies!

All in all I believe this role really suits, I find fulfillment in watching the kids learn and grow and the idea of immersing myself in a new culture in such a beautiful place as South Korea really excites me.
