I have assisted in running a small community class for children 5-8 years old, tutored adults individually in English from Spanish, and have tutored the children of a family in my community in subjects requested by their teacher. With a Master’s degree in Journalism and six years of experience working in media, I have developed an exceptional command of written and spoken English. My work as a journalist required me to communicate complex ideas clearly, understand the structure and nuance of language, and engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds. These skills, combined with my recent TEFL training, have given me a strong foundation for teaching English.
