I am a very enthusiastic and energetic teacher with teaching experience. I have a year and a half experience teaching ages 4-16. My previous experience was in South Korea and I loved it. Teaching is something I love to do and will be doing for a long time. Recently, I just received my teaching license and previously I received my TEFL Certification. Your school looks like a great fit for me and I hope that I am great fit for your school.

I have taught for three years in Korea (situated in Jeollabuk-do, Gunsan-si), and I have absolutely loved the experience! Currently, I am back at home in South Africa, but I would love to return to Korea (specifically Yongsan-gu, Seoul) in the new year.

I have a passion for education, love for children, and find great fulfilment in teaching English as a second language. Teaching ESL in Korea has helped me to develop a greater sense of self, and helped me to become the best teacher I can be.

I have especially fallen in love with Korea, its culture, food, people and language, and would love to return soon!

I feel that I am a hard-working, open-minded, punctual and reliable person, who works well both in a team and alone. I enjoy being surrounded by children, and people of different cultures, and feel that I would fit in well in any school setting. I do have a preference for an academy type school, and would prefer to work with kindergarten/elementary age.

I am seeking employment as a TEFL teacher with immediate effect. I have worked with children and young people in a residential setting in the UK and during this time gained experience in building therapeutic relationships with children, activity planning and behaviour management. Since completing my TEFL qualification this year, I have spent time in Italy, teaching English as a foreign language. I was responsible for all my own lesson planning and gained great insight into classroom management and pupil evaluation.
All my previous employment roles have demanded that I communicate effectively with both my peers and superiors. I have consistently demonstrated my ability to work constructively within a team while also having the initiative required to work alone.
I consider myself to be an outgoing person who relishes new challenges. My previous employment, working within health and social care, has demonstrated my ability to empathise. I am supportive of others’ growth and development, while striving to achieve my own personal and professional goals.
I have recently returned from South East Asia and would relish the opportunity to combine my passion for education with my love of travel.

I have taught as a lead Kindergarten, Preschool, and School Age teacher during the past two years at a childcare center called Knowledge Beginnings. I have also tutored middle school students in general school subjects, such as English, math, and science, and high school students in SAT reading comprehension, grammar, and writing. Through my previous teaching experiences, I have learned how to manage a classroom, create curriculum, be patient with the students, and communicate effectively with students, managers, and parents. I have also learned how to be a leader in the classroom.

I volunteered to work as an assistant teacher in my old primary school and led classes with 7-12 year olds. I also helped on a school trip with over 40 students to New York. I was recommended for an excellence award which I won as the trip had many issues due to a Hurricane (Hurricane sandy 2012). I am patient and hardworking and have a strong motivation to make a difference. I will work hard so that students can see noticeable progression with their English proficiency. I have a 150 Hour TEFL license and also studied TEYL (Teaching young learners) which has enabled me to better understand how to teach a young class in addition to older students.
