I have worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting so i know how to communicate and talk to young students and build a good rapport with them. I am an adaptive person so I can change and adjust my teaching style to meet the requirements of different cultures

I am a patient and caring individual which is vital in a school setting. I always will try to understand other people perspectives which allows me to make appropriate decisions. I am incredibly resilient and will never give up in all facets of life – If I start something I will want to finish it. I am a people person and always strive to get the best out of others in order to watch them grow and progress.

I am a very clear and concise speaker which is a good asset when teaching a foreign language. I am also very expressive and use a lot of tone in my voice which students will find interesting and engaging.

I am a warm, friendly, determined and loyal worker, with an enthusiasm to teach and dedication to helping others learn. I am currently in the UK, where I studies for my B.A, an M.A, 12 hour TEFL certificate, and CELTA certificate.

During my time on the CELTA course, I learnt how to design my own lesson plans, and taught students of different English levels, online. The course was for several months, and I mainly taught adults of all ages. However, in the past, I did volunteer for a primary school, here in the UK, where I helped the teacher with kids of a younger age. I am open to teaching all ages, but I would suggest my bubbly, enthusiastic, attitude is more tailored towards those of children and younger ages.

I have worked in costumer service throughout my college career and understand the importance of good relationships with those that I work for and alongside. I have also taught young children and have experience instructing a classroom.

I am newly TEFL qualified. I have been teaching English online to young children since January 2021 and have throughly enjoyed working with them to improve their English ability and build that crucial rapport. My name is Amy Lake. I am a native English speaker originally from the United Kingdom. I have a bachelors degree in Law and specialised in the debating team. I am now currently living in Milan as I moved to teach english here.

I have obtained a 120 hour TEFL certification, as well as training and certifications in:

1. The Safeguarding of children,
2. Health and safety,
3. Infection prevention control (especially important for covid),
4. Food hygiene
5. Fire Safety.

I have an endless passion for teaching and learning. My experiences teaching a variety of ages from a mere 3 years old to 18 year olds. I have worked for elementary schools here in Milan both in class and online, which I have several reference letters for.

I now strive to teach english in Korea as it is forever advancing in the educational system. Being proclaimed as one of, if not the best, country for education, i wish to bring all my exciting ideas to Korea to help it progress even further.

In regards to teaching style, i encourage the preference of interaction and more speaking, especially with younger ages. Although it is while to learn and advise on new grammar, at young ages the aiding skills towards learning a new language are speaking and listening.

I also believe certain systems are important in a classroom in order to gain trust and co-operation with the students, such as a rewards system and rules. The creation of these rules and idea's of rewards are best made as a team, i.e the teacher and the student's, in order to show a mutual agreement and also build trust and a relationship.

Teaching is an amazing way for someone to express their passion for a subject to other individuals and help engage them in the joys of learning. I love teaching as it gives me the opportunity to encourage and engage students to learn my own language, whilst also supporting them to be the best they can, as they are after all, the future generation.

I have my Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and a 120 hour TEFL/TESOL certification from the TEFL Organization. I am currently teaching English as a foreign language online so I do have teaching experience (this is a freelance position which I will end if I begin teaching in-person). Currently I teach children and adults as well as students of all ages. Aside from that, I have experience tutoring students in an array of topics. I have found that approaching my lessons with proper preparation and patience is the best way to get through to students.

I graduated from University in 2018 with a BA in History. I knew I wanted to do a Masters degree, so I completed a TEFL Certificate in order to go teaching abroad to save money for my degree.

I went to Russia for a year, quickly learning how to teach and picking up skills. I was observed in classes and received feedback on my lessons, which led to my improvement.

Although I was asked to stay in Russia and carry on teaching, I left to do my Masters degree, as I knew it would be the last opportunity I had to do it.

I've now completed my Masters degree and wish to get back into teaching, as it's the most rewarding thing I've ever done. I enjoy the job, getting to know the students and experiencing life in a different culture.

I think I'm a reasonably competent teacher, as my former school will attest and can provide a reference. However, no-one is perfect and my teaching style and confidence will certainly improve as I gain more experience. I'm always looking to grow and learn new things.

Born into a family of educators, teaching is in my blood. I am a native English-speaker and a South African citizen. I currently hold a Masters Degree and received my 168-hour Level 5 TEFL Certificate from The TEFL Academy (with 20-hour classroom teaching practice) in 2020. I have three years teaching experience at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and in my private time enjoy tutoring my nieces and the children in my neighbourhood. In 2019, I worked for the international award winning five star airline Qatar Airways, where I’ve gained extensive international travel experience and worked with people from all cultures and continents. I can therefore easily adapt to new environments. I have a vibrant personality and describe myself as a hard-working, professional and responsible individual. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, travelling and meeting new people.

I have a degree in English and much experience in writing and editing, therefore have a very good understanding and command of English usage, grammar, idioms etc. I am a friendly and patient person and I like children, I am a mother and have raised two sons of my own who are both now at university. I also enjoy music and singing and would be happy to incorporate these into my lessons, where appropriate.
