Maintain over 10 years of interpersonal and managerial experience in customer relations in various demographic locations. Supervised between 15 to 45 employees at one time. I have extensive practice serving as a support system and advocate to facilitate personal growth and steer colleagues toward achieving individual and common objectives. Demonstrate the value of long-term commitment and loyalty to employers, colleagues, and clientele.

I recently moved to Korea from the United States on an F-6 Visa in July of 2020. I first visited Korea in 2012 to experience my wife’s culture and visited several times in the following years. My purpose of relocating to Korea long-term was to immerse myself into a culture and family which I have grown to love, and having the opportunity to serve a positive role in Korean community as an English Teacher.

I believe motivating students to want to practice English, and helping enhance their overall English capabilities to benefit their futures would provide me a sense of pride and fulfillment. Although I have no classroom teaching experience, on prior visits I have had personal interactions with younger Korean family members and friends who once were reluctant, but overtime pursued practicing English with me. This brought me joy and facilitated my desire to move to Korea and teach.

I am a very energetic and proactive person. In my spare time I enjoy training for endurance cycling and running competitions. I believe that my outgoing personality traits, personal experiences in Korea, and professional qualities gained through my prior work experience will provide the balance of energy and professionalism that it requires to be successful in a private English school.
