EXPERIENCE
I have 4 years experience as an intern at private schools in South Africa. I gained this experience whilst studying my Bachelor of Education degree through UNISA. This is a 4 year degree. After I graduated, I began my first teaching job at Cowan House Prep school. I have 1 year of teaching experience at this school.

PERSONALITY
I am very passionate about ensuring that education goes beyond the confines of the classroom. I am dedicated to developing the whole child, academically and emotionally. I am always eager to be on the forefront of new educational discoveries and developmental research. I enjoy rising to new challenges and I am able to stretch myself in order to take on difficult tasks. I have compassion for learners that require special needs education and for those that struggle with speech and language problems. I have a caring, kind and nurturing nature that sparks my interest in community involvement and outreach programs.

SKILLS
– Developing and planning weekly curriculum activities.
– Sports Coaching. (Hockey, Soccer, Tennis, Basketball, Diving and Swimming at Primary School
level.)
– Boarder Mistress duties in a girl’s boarding school.
– Computer skills. Competent with MS Office Suite Programs.
– Worked with children of all ages. (From 2 years – 18 years)
– Helping second language learners (Zulu speaking) learn English at a basic school readiness level.
