My strengths are a combination of English teaching preparation, Korean cultural understanding, and strong communication skills. In terms of experience, I have completed a 120-hour TEFL certificate covering lesson planning, classroom management, grammar, pronunciation, and communicative teaching methods. I also studied Korean at degree level, lived in Seoul for one academic year, and gained experience helping Korean learners practise English through language exchange activities.
In terms of personality, I am reliable, patient, adaptable, and motivated to work with young learners. My experience living and studying in Korea has helped me become culturally aware and respectful of different learning styles.
In terms of skills, I have strong communication, organisation, leadership, and teamwork skills from my role as a shift leader, where I train and support new staff. I can give clear instructions, provide constructive feedback, and create a positive, supportive environment. I believe these strengths would help me teach kindergarten and elementary students with energy, patience, and confidence.
