I have experience tutoring English online one-to-one to students from South Korea and China, teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners. This has helped me adapt my teaching to different levels, learning styles, and goals. I am also currently completing a TEFL level 5 qualification from The TEFL Academy and have a bachelor’s degree in Law from SOAS.
I am patient, encouraging, and approachable, and I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to speak and enjoy learning. I am highly motivated, reliable, and genuinely enthusiastic about teaching English in South Korea. To describe my personality, I am a determined person, sometimes come across as introverted but still a sociable person.
I am able to support learners with grammar, pronunciation, speaking, and vocabulary, and I enjoy making lessons engaging and student-focused. I also have A2-level Korean reading ability, which helps me understand the local language and communicate more effectively with Korean students.
