My strengths are that I am a good communicator and am able to listen and evaluate different opinions reasonably. I am also able to adjust easily to new environments and work with others to achieve the best outcome for any project. As, a recent University graduate I have become more efficient with the work I do and am able to manage through hard situations and take initiative when needed. Also, when working as a Tutor for AVID, I became responsible for middle school and high school students by leading them to complete their work and ask questions if they didn't understand concepts being taught to them. As an AVID tutor you have to motivate students to achieve their own understanding instead of just presenting them the answer, which can be difficult for students but with asking the right questions it will eventually lead them to it. From my experience of being a University student and Tutor, specifically, I have learned how to adjust to new environment and people as well as engage/ motivate students to learn and ask questions to get a better understanding from what they are taught.
