When I graduated from university in Korea, I was lucky to work as a new employee at Daewoo Securities and Woori Bank because of the good evaluation of me, and after I went abroad, I studied education, American lawyers, and American economic law. Just before returning home, he successfully completed his work at AT&T, a leading U.S. telecommunications company, as a general manager of Maryland, taking charge of personnel affairs and overall sales strategies for his employees. After returning to Korea, he worked as an English interpreter at the Immigration Center under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea, Min Byung-chul as an English instructor at YBM, and as a professor at the University Illinois at Springfield Korean branch. At Gyeonggi Foreign Language High School, I took an English class with the person in charge of external cooperation, and now I am an English interpreter at Younghoon International Middle School.

I am experienced in teaching Business English to adults with various backgrounds, as well as teaching young children between the age of 4 – 15 years old.

I mainly focus in teaching conversational English and the emphasis is on practical use of the language, not just for the exams.

Although I have spent most of my life in South Korea, I left the country at a young age, and I studied in the United States of America for more than eight years. I am confident that I am capable of teaching English fluently at a Korean-English academy.

I already have three years of teaching experience in South Korea at an academy called “GE,” in Ilsan and “Sehan” in Daechi, where I was in charge of all of their upper-level literature and writing classes. Undoubtedly, both parents and students showed great affection and respect for me because of my passionate yet meticulous style of teaching. I dedicated immense amounts of time preparing for my classes, and everyone was able to hear my loud voice resonating across the entire building. Furthermore, I have always treated my students with sincerity so that they do not feel uncomfortable around me at all. I have always carefully prepared all of their daily, weekly, and monthly assignments.

Additionally, I am capable of producing my own R&D for literature courses as I have extensive knowledge about many books for all different AR-Levels. A lot of my students were particularly satisfied with my literature classes as I dedicated a lot of time covering all of the symbolism and metaphor hidden in the book. Moreover, although I had to reject their offer regrettably due to military service, after I graduated from Columbia College Chicago, I had an opportunity to enroll in their Master's Program for Creative Writing along with 50% of scholarship, given straight from the University, so my expertise in writing is equally great to my understanding of literature. Therefore, despite my lack of experience teaching English in Korea, I still have full confidence in my ability to teach at your academy.

I was able to learn the advantages of various educational systems while working in different educational institutions such as alternative schools, international schools, and language academies. All of these experiences are being applied to help students learn more efficiently in the future. I prefer assisting fellow teachers when they are facing challenging situations.
