Majoring English Education, A young yet exceptionally motivated English teacher who has six years of experience in various setting. I am passionate about boosting my students' confidence while helping them learn new things every single day.

I have passion to teach English and love kids, which makes me a better teacher. Also I try to accept others' advices so that I can develop myself. Lastly I'm positive and bright so that I can overcome difficulties.

I have been engaged in various activities such as intern journalist, restaurant sales, government agency work, club activities, private start-ups, and freelance English instructors. Of course, compared to native speakers, your English skills may be somewhat lacking. However, I think being good at English and teaching well are different. As a freelance English instructor, I was able to give English lectures suitable for the test. And I think that through various social experiences, I will be able to interact with students personally, not just superficially.

I have had, from a young age, a dream and ambition to become a teacher, as a sole vocation. To aid in inspiring and educating others on something as powerful and inspiring as language. Teaching a language opens a new world for students to new realms of possibilities and potentials that would not have been accessible before. I come from a family of teachers, with my mother being a teacher of History and English Literature, and my Father being a teacher, lecturer, and motivational speaker. I have grown up surrounded by teachers and educators, immersing myself deep into the works and crafts, whilst honing my own at the same time. At University I gave private extra tuition lessons in English and subjects related to the degree we were studying to foreign exchange students
I see language learning as opening up a whole new world of possibilities and as a means of becoming immersed in another culture of a country. I am currently learning Mandarin Chinese and learning culture on and off as self-study since 2012.

I seek to inspire students to learn and investing in language learning. My ambition is to open a school of my own accessible to all to be able to come and learn a new language and in turn open up a vast myriad of possibilities for them in the future.
As a student and a teacher, I have encountered a number of challenging situations, including sudden changes to the time and date of an exam brought forward. Having to manage a situation where a lesson has had some disruptions from a student. I have worked with young children over the years, including babysitting for my parents friends during my teenage years, during that time I would come up with fun and informative lessons in basic maths and English. I volunteered for many years as a assistant swimming teacher giving lessons to children aged 5 -12. This was done at my family's sports club in Clapham. During my university years I provided extra tuition to foreign exchange students – mostly to help them understand the scientific terms in English before exam seasons. Over the years I have worked part time teaching and tutoring – in Ireland with Spanish exchange students, in England with Korean, Polish, and Chinese students. I also part time tutored in primary and seconadry school level English language, English Literature, Biology and Mathematics as well as English this increased more in 2020-2022 with the implementation of home schooling within my town.

Passionate about teaching language in China, I bring adaptability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. Diverse experiences have honed my skills, and my TEFL qualification has prepared me well. Eager to engage students and contribute to China's educational landscape, I bring a fervour for language and cross-cultural understanding to my teaching endeavours.

I want to thank you in advance for hearing out my application today. I am a recently graduated psychology student looking to advance my career by working in a multitude of different environments- environments that push me, that help me better understand the world, and those that live inside it. I believe your school would be an excellent opportunity to achieve such things.
I am a careful and diligent worker, whose past employment has helped me understand the most important elements of being a professional; to be completely reliable and completely prepared. I am not just looking to vacation for a year in your beautiful country. I have a foundational belief in the responsibility I have to help my students the best I can. I understand the amount of work it will take to properly run a classroom and I am ready to do it. I am also aware that there are many things I do not know about Chinese culture and I am excited to learn so that I can better reflect my personal and professional life.
Please do me the honor of your consideration, I would love a chance to talk more about the opportunity and I look forward to hearing back. If there is anything I can do to help alleviate concern, you can get back to me directly from this email address.

Thank you,
Joseph Garvey

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to apply for the post of AP Chemistry teacher in Qingdao. I am very intrigued and highly motivated to be at service in your school.

My educational background includes 2 & half years at an American International School in Bangladesh, 4 years of a boarding school (Kent, UK), 3 years of college in the East London to be called very diverse.

As a teacher, I have lived in Vietnam to teach students going to International schools for a year. On top of that I have over 10 years of teaching students at international school in Korea.

My specialties at the various academy was to send students to the medical & dental schools in the US or the UK.

I have lived and breathed teaching esl in Korea for the last 2 and a half years. I have watched Korean students learn Engllish and grow exponentially. I've tried my best to teach my students the English language the way I learned it in school with the tools I learned through work and my tesol certificate. I may be not as decorated as the next person but I am honest, dedicated ,diligent and with the right chance I can get the job done. All I desire is to live a good life with my fiance doing what comes natural which is teaching esl.
