Hello, how are you ?
I`m an applicant, my name is Hyuna,
English name is Winnie.
Unfortunately, I`am very unhappy,
inconvienient,uncomfortable,
unsatisfied with my life.
Because, yesterday also I`ve had a job
interview in Korea.
Same as other days, I failed.
Why I am so frustrated, actually I had
job interviews over 400 times in Korea.
Can you believe it ?
You can believe it, if you want.
But I `m writing on you a truth.
Here are the obvious reasons.
First, I wish I could get a job abroad.
Because, In Korea, so many people
they DO NOT recruit ,those whom,
use in English. Especially, duty free shops,
trade companies, department stores, small-midium
size enterprises, even in helping
immigration & boarding schools,
hospitals, restaurants, reservation call center
for foreigners, hotels, building information desk.

Second, they require high TOEIC score
like over 700-900, in every fields of
using in English.

Third, when Korean teach in English
to the kids, have to speak in English only,
without Korean.
Refer to my career I only taught children
with Korean about English alphabet,
sentences, basic grammars, vocabularies.
Whenever I had a job interview,
I got so upset and angry.
Because, I called with the Korean
HR managers on the phone
as a pre-job interview, I only told the FACTS.
Which I could work, or not exactly.
But they surely answered me alright
on the phone.
On the other hand, for a real,
in those job interviews they refused me.
With unacceptable reasons,hilarious condemning.

Fourth, they discriminated me
with my appearances. Still can`t understand!

Fifth, Korean companies are very fraudulous.
Be careful of them. They have no faith,
no responsibilities. Just called to the applicants,
even they do not want to hire.
No doubt, no naive intentions either purposes.

I waited for their job interview answers
as fast as possible. But they never call.
Applicants should wait for a long time.
These days, a few companies are better.
But still no calling. And Korean job recruiters
are very stingy, they even don`t treat
a cup of coffee.
More over, out sourcing companies
are very bad.
To the applicants, only require
various types of resume.
Whenever they call me they pretend to
hire me, near employee,it sounds like that.
But they only take my resume,
and then no response.
How rude Korean companies!
How many times should I endure myself?
I waited a lot, hold back over hundreds times.

Sixth, Korean HR recruiters are very uncourteous.
Basically, unkind, do not inform
interview places delicately,
on the way of job interviewing,
I was trying to find the place, called them
but didn`t get the phone, shouted & insulted me a lot.
Can you imagine how I am embarrassed ?
And they call me lunch time,
or early in the morning.
Those routines are repeated
over and over again.
Also, if I try to get a job, I must use SNS.
Every single Korean companies
use SNS when they WORK.
Even I don`t want, they enforce me.
And I prefer to use,read,write capital(big) letters.
But Koreans think that`s weird, a jerk, retardness.
I have no right to choose. No respect.
It `s pretty sad sad situation.

I live in Yang-Ju city, it`s very wide ,
but buses are so slow.
It took about 2-3 hours to get to
Seoul(capital city) or urban.
Why I think Korean companies are
such a bastard, whenever I have a job interview
I was near starving, bitter saliva,
nobody knows my hungers.
Small salaries, long distances,
overwhelming I mean heavy works.
They only insist of their selfish opinions.
I`ve been very very suffering.
My family either treat me as a disabled person,
lunatic, a loser, a fraudulous person.
I lost my faith. I am hurting.

I want to live ,I want to work.
Please help me. I need somebody`s help.
Hopefully, recommend me an appropriate
job position ,or offer me a good job.

I have experience tutoring mathematics at St. Cloud State University (St. Cloud, MN, USA) as well as experience with grading tests/quizzes at St. Cloud State University and Sogang University.

I have excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as attention to detail, which can be applied to teaching mathematics. I also have experience with Microsoft Office products and OpenOffice.

I studied English in the united states of America. I studied at a English academy for a year and Bergen community college such as English writing, speaking,reading and grammar and so on for 2 years.
So I have a clear and accurate accent in English. And
my strength is grammar.
I'm eager to learn everything on board and teach English. I'm very active. I hope to get an interview thankfully.

I majored in 'the international relations' and graduated from Naval Academy of Republic of Korea in 1984, and deepened my study for social issues in department of ethics education in college of education of Seoul National University and graduated in 1988 with a teacher's license of social ethics education. In 1992, I graduated from graduate school of education in Seoul National University with a master's degree of education and continued my academic career in the department of education in McGill University in Canada as a doctor's course for studying culture and values in education. Finally, I obtained a doctor's degree of education in Seoul National University in 2014 with the thesis "A study for Military ethics based on social PERSONA(occupation, just war, leadership, and human rights)". My research and studies have continuously focused on leadership education and social ethics including international ethics like just war and peace. My main interest of study are culture, peace and war, environment, international relations issues. and occupational leadership(especially military) and education, which are main issues in social studies and global studies. As I have been a professor of the department of humanities and social science in Naval Academy, I have thought social problems and ethics for more than 20 years. In 2014, I discharged from military service as a naval commander and have been giving lecture on social ethics and military issues at ROK Naval Academy as an inviting professor, and teaching social problems and ethics nearby middle schools and high schools.

I have co-worked to write several books like "Character", "Military culture and ethical problems". And I translated 'The Ethics of War & Peace, by Paul Christopher' into Korean (Navy Headquarters, 2003), which evidently shows my interest upon global studies. Recently, as I teach morals and social ethics in middle and high schools, I have felt happiness and rewarding feeling which is somewhat different from what I felt in Naval Academy. I remember that when I graduated from college of education, I was thankful that I could have this privilege to teach students as a teacher. And now, at second stage of my career, I hope to continue to have this privilege to educate students and demonstrate my abilities. On the other hand, I have serviced as a Sunday-school teacher for middle schoolers in a church both in Korea and Canada. Therefore, education for middle schoolers is not a new thing to me and I can do well as H/S and M/S teacher for social studies including global issues, using my teaching experience in Naval Academy. I think I am equipped with the various experiences, abilities as a teacher at the wonderful international school.

Solid teaching, caring, classroom management, passionate.

Based on my vast experience, I can quickly identify students' weaknesses and strengths in solving questions. Hence I can expedite their learning and instill confidence.

As a teacher, I have acquired a good listening skill and a communication skill to enhance students learning experience.

In addition, I'm bilingual in Korean and English.

I have experience teaching a wide variety of students from middle school to college. I have been more of a tutor rather than an actual teacher. I would have been certified, but I originally rejected the chance of becoming certified as a physical science teacher due to my frustration with the Florida education system. I also have a statement of eligibility that would allow me to get the certificate to teach biology to grades 6-12 in Florida for up to 3 years.

My personality is socially unaware, but extremely intelligent. I used to become frustrated easily because of my high-functioning autism or Asperger's. However, my recent experience with autistic children and teenagers has taught me to control my emotions and actually connect with the students well. As a matter of fact, I seem to have the ability to relate to special needs or autistic students even more than neurotypical.

My strengths are my analytical abilities, knowledge of scientific literature, use of bioinformatics databases, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, memorization techniques, ability to resolve conflicts, and time management.

Hi, I come from a solid accredited university and enjoy teaching students. I put an emphasis on adapting to different students' learning styles. I am outgoing and able to project to a large classroom of students. Most importantly, I am agile and willing to adapt to needs beyond my role. I hope I can teach any subject I am well-versed in (including pure English if that is a need), and make a positive impact on my students' lives.
