Dear Human resource manager,

I’m pleased to submit my application for the teaching position. The position matches my skills and qualifications very well. With my desire to work for an international and successful company and my experience with various cultures, I believe I would be a valuable asset.

Regarding my experience with the English language, I have had many chances to develop my language ability through various international programs during my education; such as an international work camp, international student association and exchange student tutoring. I have a degree in French linguistics and literature (I lived near Paris for a year during my studies) and I have studied and used both French and English during that time, making me very familiar with European languages.

In addition, I have some experience in using the English language in a professional setting. While working for IM-Tech, a medical device manufacturing company, I was responsible for translating the company’s protocols and specifications from Korean into English. I also translated other documents regarding medical devices from English into Korean. While working there I was a communication point and interpreter between IM-Tech and a U.S. based company.

I hope that my knowledge and qualities make me suitable for your consideration. I’m certain that this is a position that I am well suited to fill.

I studied in China for 2 semesters in 2017. After leaving China, I have been living in Daejeon since January 2018. I enjoy teaching English to children and would welcome the opportunity to return to China.

I am confident that I can hold this job better than any other candidates.There are three reasons why.

First of all I am a person with specialization.
I am majored in English and have a profound understanding of English learning. I have learned through many experiences and the surrounding environments that how I can study English properly. Based on this, I have been worked using English from my freshman year until my last semester. I have had the experience of teaching English from young students to adults, and I have helped them by suggesting practical English learning methods and directions. When I have taught from elementary to high school students, I experienced counseling the parents, mentoring the students, helped them with their concerns and gave them solutions, which will be of great help when I take on this job.

I also have a lot of experience in an international environment. I have been working as a staff at many international conferences and events, and have been traveling China so far. All the workplaces I experienced, which implements diversity and equal policies, is actually visited by many people with different backgrounds and perspectives. If I take this position, I can always work with open mind and an embracing attitude.

Second of all, I am an experienced person.
I have been working for one year at the British Council and another year at the Avalon English Education Group, so I know this job better than anyone else. Regardless of my position, I have constantly studied on the work that took place and have continually learned and faced the tasks that what other staffs do, I have a clear understanding of workflows and targets.
Through my working experiences, I am familiar with actual work system in this field. So If I work, I can learn quickly and flexibly based on my experience than others. I want to help improve the lives of others as I have been helped before and I want to contribute to the growth and development of team. I am confident that I am also able to provide the best service and contents for all students and parents seeking Qingdao Daewon School to improve their lives through the social and economic advancement.

Third of all, I am a sincere person.
I have been doing various things in the service field for more than 3 years. I took the given tasks with an owner spirit. I am constantly thinking about how I can demonstrate my ability to help more people and develop the business where I am in. Restaurants, cafes, hospitals, wherever they are, I have impressed the clients by the service with a sincere heart. I always actively learn about other tasks besides my main tasks, and after finishing my works I helped other staff. When I worked, I heard many of my clients' complaints and tried to help them bottom of my heart. I always approached them first with a smile on my face and listened to frank feedbacks and it makes the companies to improve.

My true heart is the same when I teach English to high school students who prepare for entrance exams for the college. Since I have always taught and consulted for the sake of students and parents, I was able to gain great trust and maintain a good relationship with them. When I worked as an assistant at YBM, I also taught adults. Before the class I have prepared supplementary materials in addition to main materials, helped them to improve their English skills. If I gain a chance to work at the Qingdao Daewon School, I’d treat the all students and colleagues like my family. And I will always try to listen and help them with sincerity.

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Abbas and I’ve been teaching maths and physics at international schools in China for the last 3 years. I’ve always had a passion for maths and physics education as I have always believed a proper science education opens doors to some of the most demanding career paths (such as finance and technology). My teaching philosophy can be summed up as ‘Make the student’s goals your own’ that is to say if the student’s priority is to get an A*/A then the structure of the lessons must accommodate that, if the student wishes to become understand the sciences much past the syllabus then I must accommodate that. I believe this pragmatic teaching style works well in the Far East were the culture is very much ‘results driven’ and where the students’/parents’ expectations must be met.

At university I excelled in mathematical and computational physics, my dissertation was to build a simulation of collapse of macroscopic systems. I also thoroughly enjoyed studying the Maxwell equations as these reflected the importance of abstract thinking and mathematical rigour in physics.

I strive to create a student centred teaching environment where the students are free to voice their concerns, opinions and ideas. By incorporating class discussions, open-ended questions and cooperative learning I am able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive class atmosphere. I always plan weekly quizzes and homework to prepare students for their SAT/AP examinations.

I am persuasive bilingual in English and Korean, and I have 11 years of various teaching and interpreting experience in Korea and the U.S.A. I am currently working as a freelancer study-abroad consultant and an editor. From basic to native level of English, I study with students until they achieve their goal, and I become their friend, older sister and family along the way. My biggest strength is that I am an energetic go-getter, which explains why I am applying for this position because I like challenges, adventures and I can adapt myself to any situation. When I was in university, I was the first Korean intern at the City Government of Philadelphia, which also proves that I am a go-getter; such experience will lead me to become a teacher who teaches and guides students at Qingdao International School for university admission. I have always been an adventurer, obsessed with investigating and discovery. My interest in math and science was sparked by early childhood explorations through the forests and wetlands of Southeast Wisconsin. Pursuing curiosity for math and science into my teenage years lead me across the country to Johns Hopkins University, where I rediscovered my passion for people and the natural world.

My choice to leave my family and friends for Baltimore was a hard one, but I wanted to meet new people and have adventures on a different coast. In Baltimore, I found many things including great friends, challenges, beauty, and awareness. I've be a part of several research projects that have taken me across the country: from the Alaskan tundra to East Baltimore. I've found myself working with amazing teams and meeting new impressive people all the time. Although my academic focus is STEM, I am driven by humans and the capacity to improve the human experience through environmental education. On campus, I pursue my educator interests through student groups, with middle school students for whom I help organize a Biomedical Engineering lab program or with my work as a GED tutor. 

My move forced me to be comfortable being uncomfortable, something that would certainly help while teaching in SK. I can stay calm in stressful situations; whether facing pressing deadlines, experiencing problems with a code I’m working on, or defusing upset customers at previous jobs, I can keep focus and think logically.

Last year, I studied abroad in Seoul, SK where I experienced a whole new way of living and tested my limits. I fell in love with the people, culture, food, and and natural landscapes and I have been leveraging to get back since I returned to America.

I would like to be a teacher who can be the best friend with my students. Who they can talk about their concerns without hesitation. But also strict so lead them to the right path even it is rough way.

My strengths are my age also my experiences. I definitely had special childhood unlike my other friends. I have seen more things than them in the world.I am lucky. However, sometimes I had to faced to lots of difficulties, but I am truly appreciated with my whole heart that I have these experiences so I can share with shiny ones ( which will be my student. ).

I have been teached many children&teenagers(I can't count) with english, ski/snowboard, career counseling, math etc) I'm not a normal teacher who just teach only subjects. I can play with my students and sympathize with their worry. if they need to play tennis, soccer, basketball or musical, amusement park, I will offer everything for my studnets. because i also can learn a number of things from my students.
The reason i apply here is that i started leaning chinese these days. If i can live here, I wanna move.

I usually taught students by Newspaper and ended with class debation or made the students do their own presentation(screens&computer) in English with what they have prepared. I am specialists in organizing Class Discussion. Class debate .preparing NIE and writing Essays or preparing interviews.

I respect cognitive teaching methods.I especially love the teaching methods of Jews. How they respect each students' talents and try to communicate as much as possible.

I am now occupied at this company but planning to quit by the end of next month.

I have dedicated some teaching methods to this company where they have developed teaching English Online through cams.

I found it very interesting at first but only woth online teaching I felt that isnt enough for the children to learn.

And since I have quite experience in living abroad I would very much appreciate if you give me an opportunity to work with you in China.
