I am a recent graduate from Stanford University. I got my Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and my Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, both in four years, and I currently work as a freelance App developer. I have been tutoring students in math for as long as I can remember, and started tutoring other subjects as I took them. I am open and willing to teach just about any subject related to STEM coursework, and additionally love to teach English/Writing and helping write college essays. I have gotten 30+ kids into Ivy League/TopTier schools including Johns Hopkins, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, MIT, Harvard, Rice, UC Berkeley, and UPenn, and would love to help prepare your child for a future at one of those schools as well! I even did a stint working with admissions officers at a few schools to improve their admissions processes. I am a kind-hearted creative teacher. I focus on building a good working relationship with my students and encouraging them to reach their greatest potential. My academic background is in psychology and international/ comparative education. Based on my education and work experience, I embody strong cross-cultural communication skills. My most important role as a teacher mentoring my students and guiding their holistic development. I love teaching writing and critical thinking skills.

After I was graduated university, I worked at financial market for 10 years. During the period, I have improved on my annoucing skill in front of crowds. Because I have to do a lot of presentations to teach audience what I know professionally. Also, I am certain that I strongly take care of my duty more accurately.

I have over 5000 classroom teaching hours and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and being the classroom with students. I would describe myself as extremely extroverted and always full of energy. I always like to bring that energy to a classroom so that children or students that I am interacting with can become energetic about the subject matter we are learning. In terms of skills, I am fluent in Korean, I have numerous references related to my teaching ability, and I am extremely confident in my ability to help students achieve their full potential. I have been in education for almost the entirety of my life. My father and mother were both teachers. My sister is a teacher and I have been in some aspect of professional education since I was 21 years old. I am currently driving for rideshare companies while I selectively apply for new positions. I have missed teaching and would like to get back into Education in Asia.

I am not experienced of teaching SAT or AP. But I am sure that I am good at teaching English based class or any. I am good at delivering. And I can handle different kinds of levels of students. I never stop learning by myself to teach them. I am both a learner and teacher who knows how to teach students in the easiest way. With charismatic way and lovely way. I could be a friend and teacher for students. Interaction is what I learned from my experiences. Lastly, I definately a hard worker.

I am a Korean and American dual citizen living in Gangnam, Seoul with native English and conversational Korean skills. I have two years of teaching experience with students ranging from 1st to 12th grade and have had various private tutoring jobs since university. I have focused primarily on teaching small TOEFL and SAT Reading classes to middle and high school students but have also worked with larger classes of elementary school students. I particularly enjoyed my year in Tokyo getting to know my high school students, during which I also worked one-on-one with 11th to 12th graders to craft and edit English college admissions essays. I am able to work well in classes with students of varying skill levels and have experience working with both very structured curricula and looser, individually tailored curricula. My name is India Graves and I am someone who is charismatic, reflective, and fun to be around. With my personality I do a lot of writing and also performance arts in my spare time which helps me develop my communication skills outside of a formal institutions. I also was able to find that I do really well with volunteering at my church by working with the children that are mainly from infants to about five year old. I got my degree in Communication with an emphasis in Electronic Media. I learned a lot of different styles of communication and dealings in telecommunication tools such as audio systems and cameras. I also was on the speech and debate team. On that team I was able to discover more about public speaking as a skill to learn in its writing, researching and in its oral projections. I also was able to compete and really see my progress in real time. From this I got to gain skills in teaching this skill to other students across my campus with tutoring.

I am someone who has had the opportunity to teach children and teenagers in real world classrooms thanks to my university and being on the speech team. I was able to teach English to children who needed to learn it as a second language and Public Speaking at a private college preparatory high school.

My experience that does not revolve around teaching or my education is mainly in retail management. I have had this job for eight years as I paid my way through school. In this role I started as a regular sales consultant and ended up getting promoted to management within the last two years. I also had the chance to work as an intern at Walt Disney World and gain networking skills with other international students.

I feel that my skills that I have would make me an excellent teacher in South Korea. I am someone who is personable and having teaching experiences that I could bring to the position. I am someone with longevity when it comes to work as I have a proven track record with my job in retail management.

I have an ability to grow with a job, handle responsibility and build positive relationships with work colleagues and teach students at all levels. My previous employers were very satisfied with my work rate.

I am a hardworking employee who is not easily discouraged by a language barrier. As an EAP student in Algonquin College, my average grade was always in the A+ range which allowed me to skip a level with recommendation from professors. This achievement proves how much I strive to accelerate academically.

In addition, I am an active global citizen. Last year, I volunteered as a community developer at Sapa Hope Center, a charitable school for the lower-income children, in northwest Vietnam. My role included a variety of tasks such as participating in a construction of dormitory building for homeless children and assisting local farmers with financial independence program, and basic teachings to the students. It was a mind-growing experience to share my knowledge and optimism with others.
