I am a very experienced person when it comes to critical thinking and overall life experience. I can learn any subject quickly and efficiently and never get depressed when I make a mistake. Mistakes are just chances to learn and grow.

I have a very calm approach to teaching and I am able to observe all my students equally and can adjust my teaching according to the needs of my students.

I don't give up on students that have a difficult time learning a subject. Everyone learns differently and a lessons needs to provide various teaching styles in order to get to the most students possible.

I have Skills with MS Office, video and music editing, basic programming, and knowledge of the workings of computers.

I majored in Psychology and am skilled with applied psychology especially helping those suffering from anxiety, depression and various mental illnesses.

I am a degree educated, ESL/EFL certified teacher. I enjoy being creative and I am also keen to use this creativity to create stimulating lessons to inspire a class. I work well in a team and can communicate well at all levels and ages. Holistic Guidance: Having been a third-culture-kid myself, I am well-acquainted with not only the international curriculum and philosophy of Advanced Placement (AP), but also the specific affective filters and achievement gaps among EFL learners. Based on my empirical insights from designing and implementing the English Bridge Program, not to mention five years of teaching experience as the Head of English, I will optimize the whole process of learning by accurately identifying learning styles and challenges, strategically individualizing pedagogical approaches, constantly conducting socioemotional counseling, and thereby nurturing positive linguistic identities. Deeply committed to the tenet of whole child education, I am more than willing to undertake initiatives to foster heuristic growth and cultivate self-efficacy to prepare blossoming learners for successful transitions into the diploma program and university.

Cross-curricular Communication: Born in Korea, raised in China, and educated in English, international communication has always been my forte. In order to promote an inclusive, progressive environment, I will actively interact and collaborate with any and all stakeholders—including, but not limited to, the local staff, international faculty, executives, students, and parents. In particular, I intend to document and deliver constructive feedback to and from students and supervisors through regular conferences and seminars to ensure cross-disciplinary alignment and organizational productivity. Moreover, I will liaise with partner schools, NGOs, and enterprises, forging extensive opportunities for teachers as well as learners, ranging from student exchange programs to professional training.

With my ample experience teaching English in Korea, my strengths lie within being inter-culturally aware with well-developed interpersonal skills, approachable and calm with a well-developed sense of humour, innovative, flexible and technologically adaptable and competent, confident and visible as a communicator. I have always had a passion for helping and teaching children. I have a Social Work degree in Child Welfare and spent most of my university days volunteering at orphanages and children homes as both a psychological counselor and mentor. Naturally, I am drawn to children and to guide them into being influential global citizens. I care about the future of tomorrow.

While studying at my university I’m always trying to remind myself why I desired to be a teacher when I was a high school student. Then, the reason was I hated the Korean school system, and If I were a teacher, I could provide a more useful and engaging experience to students. For that reason, I was trying to have experience overseas not only in Korea, and I think that give me more opportunities to bring more ideas and can be an accomplished teacher. So, I think that global teaching experience is one of my strength, and I always trying to make attractive classroom for my science education. Also, my graduate research for my Master's degree in Pusan National University was about compare the US and Korea curriculum. Through that research work I improved my knowledge related with curriculum from different countries.

I have about one and a half years experience teaching piano to youth age 8-12 years old. I helped them prepare for Royal Conservatory of Music Canada piano exam, teaching them the Level 1 and 2 repertoires.

I would say I am a calm and patient person; I am confident in my experience with dealing with younger individuals and acting as a positive role model that exhibits responsibility, maturity, and healthy living.

I studied Psychology at the University of Ottawa, Canada and Business – Finance at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. I hold a bachelor's degree and diploma, respectively. Additionally, I have received a 120+ hours TEFL certificate during which I learned teaching methods particularly for General and Business English from the most reputable TEFL provider in England.

I’m recent graduate student in University of North Alabama, US with Master of Education in Secondary Education, also student in Pusan National University, Korea with Master of Education in Global Teacher Education. The reason why I’m belong in two master’s degree study is I joined Global Teacher University dual degree program that sponsored by Korean Education Department. I will graduate in December 2022 and February 2023. I also finished my undergraduate course with Chemistry Education and General Science Education in Chung-Buk National University, so I can say my concentration is Chemistry and Science Education in Secondary level.
My teaching experience is not so long, it is around 2-3 years, and most of experience was in Ghanzi Senior Secondary School, Botswana, Africa. That was amazing experience to me, I was enrolled in Teacher Overseas Dispatch Project from National Institute for International Education, Korea. Staying in Africa and new cultural experience was impressive but prove my passion in education and improve my abilities in education through concern and effort about how I can provide productive experience to my students was most expensive rewards what I had in there. In Ghanzi Senior Secondary School, I taught Chemistry to Form 4, and Form 5 students, also I provide some small workshop about using technology in classroom to their local teachers because that program was kind of ODA program. Interesting is the Botswana Educational curriculum and National exam that BGCSE is almost same as UK curriculum and IGCSE because of the history of country. So, their textbook was Cambridge A level Chemistry textbook, and I always searched about Cambridge A level materials and tests for my references, also IGCSE was helpful resource for prepare BGCSE with my students. I’m pretty sure I used to UK style curriculum and teaching Chemistry in English based on my experience in Botswana.
While studying in my universities I’m always trying to remind why I was desired to be a teacher when I was high school students. I am fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with an intermediate level of Korean. I studied English and Media at Bachelor's level, which created the foundation for my current master’s degree in digital media at the University College London (UCL).

I am a patient and empathetic person and have gotten great reviews and feedback for my teaching, which I take great pride in. I am understanding and will prioritize my students if I get this role.

I have extensive teaching experience in the US and abroad. I have a Master's Degree in Teaching Secondary science as well as TOEFL, Teaching Business English and Professional Teaching certificates. I also currently reside in Korea and do not need visa sponsorship.
