ESL Teachers

I taught as a seasonal English tutor for Korean university students. This allowed me to understand the culture and their struggles.

I am cool, calm, and collected. I am able to adapt to any situation due to my experience in working for a fast food chain. By having experience on tutoring Korean university student, it helped me become aware on how to spike up their motivation for learning English.

Eager to learn and help others, I am keen to teach English in Korea in order to challenge myself and experience the country's culture. I have a 140 TEFL Certificate including 20 hours practical classroom experience, which included lesson planning and presenting my lessons to a class. I also have experience in Asia having travelled throughout the region extensively, and have taken all opportunities to immerse myself within the culture.

I am enthusiastic and empathic, and feel that I can not only teach a class, but listen to students and understand their needs and individual requirements. My career experience has involved organisational and management skills, as well as roles supporting other people, which I can put into practice in a school setting.

Extremely enthusiastic, I am passionate and eager to take on new challenges. I am very hard working and enjoy motivating others, always keen to be innovative and find exciting ways to engage people. Although no formal TEFL experience I have lot of experience with children and enjoy interacting with them and encouraging their education. Having engaged with people who are trying to learn English, and as someone who has lived abroad and tried to learn another language whilst immersed in a new culture, I understand the challenges, but I am excited to take on the role of a ESL teacher.

I have my Degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as a certification in teaching ESL from Pre-K to 12th grade. I am currently working as a Pre School teacher and after school care teacher. I am highly motivated and confident in my interpersonal skills, as well as in my ability to teach English as a second language.

I am a native English speaking person. I was born, raised and attended school in the United kingdom.
I recently completed the Celta programme and hold a degree in biomedical science. I am also a qualified optician, I have been doing this for 7 years. I wanted a change in career because both of my sisters are qualified school teachers and it made me interested in this field also.
I might not have much experience but the Celta programme has taught me a lot, in my everyday work I am constantly working with the public from all ages and backgrounds.
I love teaching , I have a good command of the English language.
I love Korean culture especially kpop and films, I can speak a few words in Korean. Itaweon city would suit me best as I love different cultures and food.
This is a perfect opportunity for me to travel to Korea where I have only dreamed of.
I am very hardworking, commited and enthusiastic in life and always optimistic.

I love children, I usually teach English to my 6 year old nephew and 10 year old niece.

I am a native English speaker from America and I graduated from Georgia State University in May 2015. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics and I also have a TEFL Certificate. I currently teach English online to students in China. I have been doing this since February 2017. Previously, I worked as an infant/toddler teacher at Brookside Academy. And before that, I worked as a customer service representative at Stein Mart. I have over two years of experience working with children and I absolutely love it.
I am a very positive and upbeat person and I am motivated to work hard and get the job done. I am always up for learning and trying new things and expanding my potential. Meeting deadlines and making sure everything is on task is very important to me. I am a very organized and detail-oriented person. I perform well under pressure and I have no problem with communicating ideas.
I have a lot of international travel experience. I spent the summers of 2014 and 2015 traveling throughout Europe. And since then I have traveled to various other places such as Canada and Mexico. This has broadened my horizons and opened up my eyes in a cultural aspect. It taught me to step out of my comfort zone and it instilled in me the passion and desire to live and work abroad.

I have experience working as a Theatre Teaching Assistant which has given me the opportunity to understand how to work in a learning environment with elementary aged children. I enjoyed teaching as I felt that I was able to bring energy and confidence out in the students. The reason I would like to teach English in South Korea is because I want to make students feel more confident with their understanding of the language and I feel that I am able to create an environment where they feel safe to put themselves out there.

My bachelors degree is in Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance and as a result I have spent several years studying spoken English. It has also given me the confidence to comfortably stand at the front of a classroom.

I am very interested in learning languages myself and so I believe that I will be able to empathise with the students and present the classes in a clear and enjoyable way for them to understand and actively take part.

I recently completed my CELTA training through Teaching House in Washington, D.C.​ and attained my certification.​ I would very much like to teach in a ​smaller location in a sublime country like the Czech Republic to enjoy the culture.
