I am a very confident speaker who finds it easy to communicate with people on many different levels. This is a trait of mine that I have always had and was able to build upon during my time working as a customer service advisor for Axa Assistance. While working in a call centre communication is paramount and this was something I was able to strive at. I feel that my natural skill at speaking as well as the communication skills I gained as a part of my job with Axa would make me a great fit for any role be it a teaching one or any other one of a similar nature.

Since I was young I have always been extremely good at the English language. It was my best subject during my time in school and I have always found it very easy to understand the many aspects of the language such as grammar, spelling etc. I also very much enjoy helping others especially when it comes to learning new things.

Using my communication skills I feel I would be a great person to help teach others my knowledge and understanding of the English language

As a native English speaker, and an English Literature graduate, I have an excellent understanding of English and English grammar, as well as being a fluent and clear communicator.

My short work experience in a school illustrated that I work well with children. I was able to build up a rapport with the students, and I enjoyed the classroom environment.

Furthermore, through the TEFL course I completed, I developed a confident teaching style and coped well under pressure.

I have confidence in my ability to rise to any challenge, and am enthusiastic about the opportunity to experience life in another country.

Throughout both my employment history and education, I have had extensive experience of delivering results in high pressure environments. Having worked in a variety of roles with varying responsibilities, rapid adaptation to new working environments is one of my strongest assets. My years working front of house in hotels and restaurants served to further my interpersonal skills, particularly with regards to difficult customers. This provided the foundation for further development at University, in a number of modules I excelled at creating and delivering verbal presentations to an audience.

I am a highly approachable individual with excellent written and verbal communication ability, capable of adjusting to new challenges. My positive, energic personality assures that I will strive to produce my best whilst completing the task at hand.

I have ample experience in applying appropriate teaching and assessment methodologies, and am expert at designing and developing educational objectives and preparing teaching material. I am prepared to become an immediate team player within your organization.
The following are highlights of my skills and accomplishments:

-working in a primary school for a month with year 2 students, in which I helped the teacher plan lessons and assisted the students with class work

-Worked with year 10 business students. I helped plan the lesson, present the lesson and mark the students work.

-Additionally, as learning coordinator of the Hindu Society I had to plan and present sixty minute meetings to groups as large as thirty people on a weekly basis.

-I have completed a 120 hour TEFL course and obtained four different certificates.

My strong initiative and exceptional organizational skills, combined with my ability to work well under pressure, allow me to play a crucial role in fast-paced teaching environment. Furthermore, I am capable of simplifying lesson plans to achieve curriculum objectives, without sacrificing quality. I believe I will reach and improve upon your school’s education standards.

I have excellent grammatical and literacy skills, as a native English speaker I have taken it upon myself to perfect the ways I pronounce, spell and write. I also currently have finished my bachelors in Computer Science, I have a way with problem solving and customer support as a person. I consider myself to be friendly, warm and patient.
