I am writing to express my interest in the position of English teacher, advertised as open in your school. I have experience and knowledge in Elementary education and would like to share my enthusiasm and training with the students in your school.
My background includes instructing elementary students in both traditional and alternative environments. I have developed, implemented, and instructed programs and classes in a public school. At my last position I not only instructed students but also designed programs, evaluated and placed students and acted as liaison to students and the parents. I am skilled at formulating curricular and lesson plan, coordinating field trips, and preparing progress reports and report cards.
I have been recognised for improving students’ performance and developing innovative programs. What I would bring to this position includes effective communication skills, the ability to acquire and keep the students’ attention, and a strong desire to provide the highest quality of education possible.
